I've seen the Coyote and Coywolf! I was curious about the Coywolf, and saw he didn't really bother me, or try to get aggressive with me, although he was curious about me just as I was him them he just went and laid down near the light on the hill! He never traveled with any other just by himself!
I believe what I saw the other night must of been a coywolf. I live in massachusetts and I woke up around 12:30 to some weird sound in my yard. My dog also heard it and was looking out the window when I did. I turned on my flash light and low and behold this big dog like beast was watching me. It is so hard to describe exactly the size and looks of this thing but It looked like a freaking hell beast. Its hair reminded me of a hyenas, kinda long and standing up and scraggly looking. Its front legs looked a tad bit longer than its rear legs. It just looked like something you would see in a nightmare. I was scared shitless. Thank god I was holding my dog by his collar because if he jumped out the window, that probably would of been the last time I would of seen my dog. What a scary looking thing. I have never in my life seen anything like it. I got a very good look at it too because my flashlight is super bright. It just walked away to the other side of the house and I lost sight of it. It was definitely watching the horses as it was pretty close to where they live.
