I got them from calvinet D O T C O M slash files slash simplextones. (Sorry, I had to thwart TH-cam's URL prevention stupidity. I made the 4100U slow whoop by taking the old one, slowing it down, and adding some midrange. The chime tone is just a recording of me hitting my 2902-9234.
I've seen these but without the voice function (horn-strobes only). Probably were some of the first alarms with visual devices. When did bells stop being used? Why? Is the light in that incandescent?
I think there might’ve been fire alarms that used the same voice actor man but the lines kinda differed from this one but still kept that same fire alarm sound but kinda delayed it a bit I think.
Oh, ok, gotcha!! Yeah, those r nice panels, where my grandmother used to live, they had a 2001 w a voice evacuation panel. I don't know if it's still there, but those r nice!!
well, I haven't been there in years, my guess is that it's still there. A lot of the old systems in apartment buildings in my state r still there, but u never know

You sure can have it in your house

That siren sounds different than the 4100ES siren on the female voice message. That's the male mesage

I don't know why that simplex lifealarm looks so funny on that lightplate
I think there might’ve been fire alarms that used the same voice actor man but the lines kinda differed from this one but still kept that same fire alarm sound but kinda delayed it a bit I think.
That's a different male voice evacuation message.

The 2903's come in both incandescent light (night light bulb) and strobe versions (xenon flashtube). This one is an incandescent light.

A 4100U is a control panel.
I thought they discontinued them in '89
Do you need to run to get of a burning building
This is kinda nasty but when I was like 4, I was watching this and dropped my moms phone in the toilet 💀
i kinda moved or what i did with it but it's out of space though.
Just wondering: are the 4003's evac messages and 4100(U/ES)'s evac messages voiced by the same person?
I believe so.
nice that sound's cool :)
well, I haven't been there in years, my guess is that it's still there. A lot of the old systems in apartment buildings in my state r still there, but u never know
nice job
how it works?
Oh, ok, so they replaced the 2001 w the 4100
When did voice evac systems first come out?
Early 1980's
oh no, some simplex 2001 panels have an optional voice evacuation panel too
The 2001-8003, 8004, 8005 and 8006 Brands Used Options on these
I don't have a voice evac panel, so I have no way of doing that.
I have a simplex back plate like that but it doesn't have a strobe in it.
I thought those Simplex strobes flash.
That's a light plate
did u use a 4100 for this?
Do they even sell these things?
Can you put up the recording of the recording used in this video on your site?
Did you do the all-clear message?
What fire alarm is this
you can attatch a 4100U to that light plate?
I know its a Simplex but whats the model number and are they hard to find? Cuz im looking for one
SouthPawBowler2.0 which one the light plate or the speaker?
The light plate is a 2903 light plate. The speaker I’m not sure of. Sorry
What speaker/light plate combo is that?
Simplex 2902-9711 speaker+2903-9001 light plate.
@@FireAlarmTech7. 9002 not 9001.
Sawgrass Mills Mall has this
Nice. Questions will not be answered. I did not know that the alarm growled.
22nd July 10003 (recorded)
Notice the z on the system
Do you happen to still have this message?
Nice
I had one in a elemtary school it was similar to this and I found it very creepy!!!!!!!:(
is that actually loud cause it doesnt seem like it
nah.
Well, I don't know if simplex installed the panel, because the signaling devices r federal signal speakers mounted over 2903 light plates
it sounds like it growls at you.
Did you record the all clear message? Please respond
Umm.. yes.
