Thanks a lot! Enjoy your time in Asakusa! And btw - at the 8th floor of the Asakusa Tourist Info Center (just right across Kaminarimon gate), there’s a free viewing deck where you can an aerial view of the place - it’s amazing!
Hi suki! Very excited to follow along your journey in japan, I am going to japan end of Nov,any food recommendations from u personally? Is the Hikiniku To Come hamburger w& gyukatsu motomura worth the hype? Thanks! Love your slow travel style (i am not an elderly but loves a more laidback itinerary)
Hi Siska! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it😊♥️ Actually, I haven’t tried those restaurants yet. I’ve tried Bikkuri Donkey, which is a popular hamburger steak chain in Japan and it’s really good! The portions are huge too. I highly recommend it 👍🏻 Overall, I tend to gravitate towards small / local eateries than the chains - like those run by families. Where in Japan are you going to? ♥️
Hi, so sorry I saw this just now! We stayed at a Japanese-style room - they have 1 of this per floor. It has a regular bed but with tatami flooring. It’s quite small which is typical of hotel accommodation in Tokyo within the same price range, so not advisable to bring a lot of stuff/suitcases. What I liked about it is it’s super clean everywhere and there’s a bath at the rooftop. The staff are super friendly as well. We paid php17,200/usd300 for 5 nights for people - pretty good rate and area is near Sensoji Temple (around 15 mins by foot).😊 Hotel name is Kin Hotel
You are very relaxing to listen to.
