I don't think there's a any recorded instance of a cheetah eating an adult human. While they are wild animals and can be dangerous, cheetahs are the most docile big cats in the world. They've been held as a pet by ancient Egyptians and Medieval nobles. They were even used to hunt deer. They like hunting, but it will give it's prey away to nearly all other predators. It simply isn't big and strong enough to defend it, and it can't afford to lose a fight.

It simply isn't big and strong enough to defend it, and it can't afford to lose a fight.
