BM sir, Buffet didn't took direct leverage or borrowed money from brokers to invest (like Rakesh Jhunjhunwala). Buffet used upfront premiums from his insurance Company to invest in stock markets. Buffet also raised money from "equity" investors by starting his LLP partnership firm. This indirect leverage helped Buffet to generate 22% returns. But its difficult to make more than 15% CAGR in the long term TODAY, because of 10% tax, stock markets being matured, private equity firms. If my observation is correct sir ??

GM Basant ji, as far as my knowledge goes, HCC’s diversification into real estate business, especially development of Lavasa near Pune let it slip and not because they conceptualised futuristic development but because it got stuck due to political affiliations or oppositions.
