I have no words to describe what I am seeing. Its people are beautiful, cute nature, beautiful dance. I am simply impressed with that culture. I Love Wakhi Culture. I Love Gilgit Baltistan. From Cuba 🇨🇺 with love
The Hunzas are descendants of the Illyrians (Albania today). They came to Pakistan at the time of Alexander the Great of Macedonia. 6 thousand soldiers were stationed at that time when they were Pelasgian-Illyrian. The wedding has the same customs as the weddings in some villages in the north of Albania, the bride cries when she leaves the house, she meets all the family members. The bridegrooms come to take the bride and all the men go out, line up and meet each other shaking hands. The dress of the bride is the same as the clothes of the city of Mirdita in Albania.
@@Lola_Dea Hunza comprises of three major parts. Shinaki (lower Hunza) where majority people speak Shina language, Central Hunza ( Brushaki language ) the ones you are talking about, then it is Upper Hunza ( Gojal ) where Wakhi language is spoken. This particular video is from Gojal where Wakhi speakers live and majority people have came from Tajikistan and Iran.
The origin of Wakhi People is from Wakhan which shares a border with Russia, you will find plenty of Wakhi people living in Russia aswell. Approximately a total of 50,000 Wakhi speaking people live in Northern Pakistan. 25000 in Gojal valley, the rest are in Ishkoman valley of Ghizer and Broghil Valleys in upper Chitral Majority are in Southern China & Afghanistan (Wakhan Corridor)
