BAJO VILLAGE HOMESTAY ADVENTURE | INDONESIA VLOG SE02 EP20

In this adventure, we decide to spend 1 night inside a guest house in the Bajo village (Sea Gypsies) in Wakatobi Indonesia.
There are no tourists on this floating village and we had no idea what to expect. We will give you a tour of the house we are staying in, a tour of the village along the planked pathway, some drone footage, and an insight to what we ate for lunch and dinner.
We will also show you what this village looks like at night.
Just before checking in, we went spear fishing with the Bajo sea gypsies in the nearby mangroves (previous video)

I think the dish you had for lunch that you thought was chutney may have been fermented shrimp paste. If so, it's also common in the Philippines.

I can help! Contact Geertje who is the Dutch lady that lives on Hoga island - about a 15 minute boat from the Bajo village. She runs the diving resort and for us, she called the host that will host you in the Bajo village. The host will come and pick you up from Hoga island, take you to their house on stilts, then bring you back to Hoga island.
