I left mine as they came. I prefer the folded tongue because it makes them look even more different other than the slight change in the patterns. To me, it looks like just another Jordan 4 with the tongue unfolded. Although I do agree they look good with the gold laces! I saw a pic of them with navy laces which looked super clean too
If i get my hands on these, the tongue will stay stitched down. I’ve always thought the 4 tongue was too high. I’m glad Union off set that element for me. 100% agree on wearing in these kicks. I’m lookin forward to the distressed pics later on.

I never had so many people stop me and inquire. It was pretty cool....planning on mixing up some SB’s, with a story or “reason” for the match up. Cheers guys ✊🏽👟🔥
Miguel Sanchez I bought a hand held steamer from target. The maker is con air. I unstitched the tongue loosened the laces so the were out of the way then steamed it till all the wrinkles were out. Make sure you don’t touch the steamer directly on the tongue and try to avoid plastic pieces on the shoe because you don’t want anything to melt!!!!
Step one cut stitching, Step 2 use iron and towel 2 smooth stuff out and Bam, I wish I could have got this. Nice video Bud didn't know you could do that!
Im thinking of shortening the tongue a smidge and sowing them with the same gold color stitching. Also a thread ripper would be a bit easier to use remove the stitching...as for my fidgety handed brothers and sisters may nick something with an exacto knife

I prefer the tongue folded. The inside (tongue) matches the out soles which is a nice hit imo. To me, the way they come otb presents a well balanced shoe. Unfolding the tongue plain janes'em out to me🤷🏾 Whereas, the orange laces are a bit over the top for me.

@@kylerichard2040 I’d say go down half a size or go TTS. I got the same size as Jordan 1s and they fit perfectly. TTS was a bit roomy in my opinion
