What a fantastic review. The two character ones are always hilarious. I loved it. Also in my opinion the theme tune at the end finishes them off nicely so I'm glad it's back. The album sounds really ingriguing too, I'm definately going to give it a spin over the weekend. On another note, have you heard of a band called Monolord? They randomnly appeared on my Tidal last week and their latest album Your Time to Shine sounds great to me. Hints of Mastodon, big powerful chords mixed with lots of melody and some cool instrumental passages. Hope you're having a great holiday and I'm looking forward to the what got you into metal one especially, it'll be interesting to see how close or different our entry points were.
Cheers mate. Glad you enjoyed it. Definitely recommend checking this one. It's a great album. Haven't heard Monolord but I will check them out. Been getting into a lot of heavier bands lately and I'm really enjoying filling in the gaps of genres I've missed.
The post rock genre is becoming a genre that I really enjoy a lot. Bark Psychosis were the band that got me into the genre. I adore their debut album, Hex. Swans made albums through that genre, too. I have heard good things about this band.
We definitely need more of this twin relationship 😂 I did not like the recent albums by GIAA which sounded pretty mediocre for me. (Or maybe I have just grown out of post-rock.) Therefore when I started Embers I did not have high hopes. Oh how mistaken I was! A truly great album with a fantastic atmosphere. I like it that songs are different and do not blend into one single repetitive track.
Thanks a lot. Much appreciated. This is the first I've heard of theirs since Epitaph in 2018 (which I loved) so it looks like I chose a good one to check back in on.
I also always butcher names sometimes. I still need to listen to this one. Even on holiday you bring us the reviews. Great job, you killed me with you can keep your shitty review lol.
He he, the intro music is back, I approve 😊
Niels is pronounced as if you would say: „meals“ , just switch the M with an N (obviously 😅)
Glad you enjoyed it bro 🤘
Love you dude. Always a pleasure to see you. 🙏🤘❣️
Thanks a lot mate \m/

I think the tremolo picked picking is my favorite type of picked picking 😊
😂
It's the ONLY type of picked picking I have any time for 🤘

Never heard Bark Psychosis or Hex so I'll have to check them out. I love Swans. Phenomenal band.
Hex is Bark Psychosis' masterpiece. Their second album is very good. I do recommend the band.
@@TheStrongBoyz19Sorry I must have misread that. I will check it out for sure.
All good. lol. A classic from '94. God is an Astronaut does sound intriguing, so I'll check them out.
@@TheStrongBoyz19 I think you'll enjoy them mate. Truly immersive album
