Currently, our product team has not yet put LifterLMS Groups 2.0 into development, but it is already in the priority list for development in this feature request at trello.com/c/arkFp9in/211-lifterlms-groups-20?search_id=799852f0-04bc-4e07-8e91-6b603ac036aa. If you'd like to add you vote, you can log in to Trello or create a free Trello account. In general, the more votes a feature request gets, the higher the chances are that we will develop it. Here's a doc on how we handle feature requests and other factors that determine what we focus on. We just won't be able to give anyone any estimated timeline of when LifterLMS Groups 2.0 will be available once the development team starts to work on it.
Groups members cannot see their own reports. Only group admins and leaders can see the reports. Renaming "member" to "student" is also not a feature of LifterLMS Groups. But it is possible to rename "Leader" or "Leaders" to something else. Since both features you are looking for are not yet available to LifterLMS Groups, we recommend that you file a feature request, one for each feature. You can file you feature requests at lifterlms.com/general-contact/?type=feature. Once you file a feature request, our product team will review it. We may add it to our public-facing feature request board on Trello. This is the place where our users can vote on requests for new features. To learn how we handle feature requests, please visit lifterlms.com/docs/how-does-lifterlms-handle-feature-requests/ Just please note that we cannot give you an estimated timeline on when these features will be considered for development.
Hello, yes, at the moment, only 1 course or membership is possible. (You could go with a membership that grants access to many courses). Access to multiple classes is on our feature request board for our product team to take a look at as well to see if they'll add that into LifterLMS Groups
4 asks about this plugin... first, is it possible to add more than one leader by group? second, is it possible to add the same account in multiple groups? third, was allready developed the feature to add many courses in a group? fourth, in a running LifterLMS, is there any way to fast add the members of a membership already created to inside a group? (this question is about safely and faster implementation of this plugin in a running LifterLMS)
Hello, 1 - yes, you can add more than one leader to a group. 2 - yes, each user account can be in unlimited groups. 3 - you could do a membership with many courses and add that membership to the group to unlock that multi-course setup. 4 - there's not a way for an admin to add users to groups without that user taking the action of clicking the group invite link (this is for privacy reasons as the users will take the action themselves to enroll in the group)
@@LifterLMS The leader must send the invitation one by one? Is there a way to send invitations from a csv or Excel list, or even puting multiple e-mail adresses in the invitation address box?
This looks fantastic! But there's a problem with my use case. On my website, I will have parents (group leaders) and students (users). The problem is that all of my students are PreK to Grade 6. None of them will have email addresses. Can an admin manually assign a course to a user that doesn't have an email address? Perhaps they can register with just a username + password? What's the workaround given this use case? This scenario is going to become very common in the near future with education going online. Please think about how to integrate this for Groups Phase 2. Most online education will require an almost-identical setup, as we begin to adopt online schooling as the norm. Thanks for your help, and I hope this can be considered. I've been in this industry for a while, so I'm happy to share insight by email/Facebook, etc! 🙌
Hello, all WordPress users must have email addresses at the moment unfortunately. I haven't seen a way to get around that requirement, but the LifterLMS system is using WordPress users, so if you could create a user without an email, that may work. (or maybe use the parent's email like parent+student1 @gmail.com for example.) I can add that to our feature request board for our developers to take a look at, but I'm not sure if they'd be okay with fundamentally changing how WordPress users work, but I can definitely share your idea with them!
Thank you for this video. I purchased groups a month or two ago because I thought it was already connected to e-commerce. But support told me that there will be another phase rolled out in the future. I have not returned it because I am looking forward to the next, phase. Do you know when this phase will be rolled out?
Hello, there's not an ETA from our development team yet on Groups Phase 2 unfortunately. (that will introduce more automated purchase to group creation features)

Thanks Will for this video. I'm super interested in phase 2. As well as any training we can pass along to a Manager about how the groups work. 👏👏👏
Hi. Has Group Space II rolled out with e-comm capabilities yet?

Can a member i.e. not a school admin or teacher see their own report? Also, can I change the title member to student? If so, how?

Hi guys, is it only one course possible to add on the group?

@@LifterLMS Wondering if there's been any progress on this. I would love to be able to add multiple courses to a group.
