Just watched Dear Evan Hansen yesterday. She did an amazing job as Zoe! As soon as I heard her start singing I got chills, she has such a lovely clear tone. I wish there was an official recording with this cast.
She’s very good, personally Mallory is my favorite because she truly feels like a teenager and her and Andrew Feldman are a perfect pairing. Very good but I like Mallory and Laura better.
I am on the fence about seeing the show again with a different cast. For some reason I don't super love her as Zoe? But I am curious about Jordan Fisher.
I just saw her do this on 1/1/2022 and I thought her performance was outstanding. I honestly went into this not knowing any of the music and it completely caught me by surprise. The whole show moved me deeply but this song was a stand out for me. The second she started singing I was hooked. Jordan Fisher was supposed to be on that night and he wasn’t. Zachary Noah Piser was amazing.
I think the acting stood out way more than her singing performance tbh she also sounds like she is about to cry in the end, she did very well
