I still have my 81 430 XC I bought brand new, still runs, still bad ass
I could see those Husqvarna in a chain saw store in the background and Svenson at the parts desk. Skoal.
I always enjoy your videos. I remember drooling over many of these bikes when they were new in dealer showrooms. I was too young and too poor to own one...
Splendid ! I owned one of these in 81-82 and my only regret about this bike is that I sold it. The motorcycle had so much torque that it could climb 70% inclines full of rotten leaves without any problem like a tractor.
2nd and 3rd gear starts were the best!!!...from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe and healthy everybody GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY
Bellissima, nel 1983 avevo il 250 andava abbastanza bene seconda solo al KTM gran moto anche lei.
Got the 82' 430 xc. Most dependable bike in the collection. Just quality Swedish Craftsmanship.
Very easy to ride, pulls smooth and climbs big hills with ease.
Really good looking bikes too.
Man that Husky is Beautifully Done!! Very Tasteful Restoration Dam I would love to have it
Arguably one of the sexiest bikes ever!
That's the most beautiful thing ive ever seen...since the days around '80-'82 when my Mom would let me get a new Toy/Model Dirt Bike (Figurine) once a month at Eckards Drugstore. I coveted them. I'll never get over how rad that bike is!
Best looking dirt bike ever made besides the 1982 1/2 silver streak
I rode this exact bike after getting off my 1978 YZ 125. I think I saw Elvis when I cracked the throttle and ripped down a two track trail for the first time!!!
Beautiful bike ! If I had one of those and an Elsinore250M I could die happy. .......and maybe a Cyclone 400......and a Vertimatti....and...
Sounds good
I remember those days of getting the piston in the exact position for a one kick start😀
Nice bike. 👍 Working on CR390 project.
Your bike's are AMAZING and very well cared for!! Wish I could have a few of them...lol.. from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe and healthy everybody GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY
On the original bike the barrel and head were black. Other than that the bike looks new. Barrel and head look good too. I have video of a friend riding one of these up a ski hill. Sounds great.
So where do you find these? Are older bikes like that popular in your area? I understand that you restore them, but how do you find so many?
Awesome 😀 👍
Typical Husky 1st kick, I had three of those bad boys, never broke. I took care of them.
real nice .
Perfect job. I want to ride it into turn one in anger!😉 I assume the fork tubes were re-plated, if so could you share the contact? Or maybe they stay like that in a good climate. In Sweden everything is pitted...
thats how you start a Husqvarna ,drives me insane seeing fellas fluff around and put on this huge stage performance ,seen fellas lay the bike so far over on its side then pull the choke twist throttle ratchet the starter for an enternity ,just watch what Mr Kingdebary does and find TDC then give it a good firm kick all the way through ,my older brother had a 430 but it was the auto model ,it went back up for sale within the month
Do you take on restoration projects? I acquired a 1983 Husqvarna 250CR. Would like a professional refurbishment.
at the moment I only do restorations for my own collection although I do sell them from time to time. However, I plan on doing them for other people when I am semi retired in a few years
TOP SHELF!!!!
Hi Mr. When selling your bikes, where do you publish them?
I own a wr 240 1983, but wish to find one like yours...is it for sale?
Do you know where I can get a service manual for a 1981 Husqvarna XC430
This bike and the 1980 390 are my favorite 2 dirt bikes of all time. Man I love those Swedish Husky's! 👍
