Yep, dark night of the soul happened for me roughly 4 years ago. Learned to love myself by not over giving and gained awareness of how I was placing expectations on people for "loving" me. Ha, that's nothing more than wound licking now that I know the difference between Divine Love (Unconditional) vs. Natural Love (expectations/obligations). Gotta say, it's been quite liberating to reconcile the love I truly desire to be within myself and share! Anyone I attract will either mesh or they won't.
