I’m just blown away by this piece! And the roses would be beautiful for a sympathy card as well. I like to use Black or dark grey and shades of grey for sympathy cards. that rose die would be so perfect! what an outstanding job you did! 🙌🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤

My son is getting married in February and it is a small wedding with a steampunk theme. It’s going to have mostly of neutrals with a pop of very dark purple and leans a little more Victorian. I bought this boot die set just for the wedding decor/table numbers and now I’m thinking about adding the roses. Again, I can’t wait to see what you do.
Did I miss you creating a shelf or table for the books? Love the glittery texture and embossing on the boots. I agree with you about dies. They are my favorite tool, because they make it possible to create both stamps and embossing elements and foiling. Oh. And letter pressing. I also enjoy reimagining dies. I love ornament die sets because ornaments make both great flowers and fantastic vases. I feel that gnomes, jellyfish, mushrooms, and books do not require specific dies as all are so easily constructed from dies made to create other images. Pareidolia is the ability to perceive specific images in random shapes or patterns. Tim Holtz’s Abstract Faces and Abstract Elements greatly improved my ability to do this. I’m grateful I learned to reimagine dies and stamps because there are certain images that it makes little sense for me to have the ability to produce in mass-- like witches’ footwear. I’m just never going to make enough cards or journal pages that feature witchy 🧙♀️ boots to justify owning a specific die for creating them. Same with any kind of food. Not my jam, so no need to have a die or stamp set.

It’s just fantastic! not too cute not gory, elegant but so cool! This is truly the best halloween card I have ever seen!!!!

I've had several pairs of granny boots, but none had an awesome embossed web! I love them. Thank you for always being so inspiring. I really want to make my own version of this now.
I joke that there is so much noise in my brain, that I have to surround myself in neutrals to quiet it. 🤣 Seriously though, I do love color, but I find I get extremely anxious when I’m in an overly colorful environment for too long. It’s the same with lots of overlapping noise.
