I always admired the fact she didn't want to be part of the circus and seemed the most grounded and normal of the family. She reminds me of my oldest daughter.

I remember when they asked Ozzy which child takes after you the most, he said with no hesitation-- "Aimee". I agree because she carves her own path just as he did.
Its neat how she was describing her process of finding melodies. He absolutely does that too. Im so glad its been passed down through him. People downplay it & say he just has writers. But I think his own melodic abilities & instincts are why he has had the success and special iconic status that sets him apart from the rest.
It has made him so unique among musicians.

@@Serenityblu23yes I remember seeing some special about Aimee on British TV around the time The Osbournes TV show was at an end. I remember thinking "Oh wow! She was too sensible to be on the Osbournes TV show. But she would have really balanced things out!"
I would even check out her interviews when she was 7-10 in Ozzy's documentaries.
There's also a really sweet interview on the Joan Rivers show for a Father's Day episode.
She has her mom's eyes and dad's hair ❤

🤣 they all have some good qualities but definitely they were extremely dysfunctional and their children grew up to mature beyond their parents, in spite of their parents, but I'm sure their parents helped a little anyway. All you had to do was see any of that reality show which I can only stand a minute or two and listen to Ozzy talk about the old days or listen to Sharon talk about any of the old times and you will hear so much dysfunction.

They were HORRIBLE and basically non existent parents. Yes, they loved their kids but Jack and Kelly were allowed to drop out of school, they were both allowed to roam LA, they were both addicts and drunks……it’s by PURE LUCK that neither of them died. They pulled themselves together. Ozzy and Sharon did nothing to prevent what happened. I’m glad they all made it out but to say that they “raised” good kids is nothing short of ridiculous. They should hit their knees every night and thank God that they got as lucky with their kids as they did.
What brilliant taste she has. Love that she mentions Fiona Apple, P.J and even Jewel's first album. I need to check her music out! I didnt know anything of her until I heard her mum mention her on Celeb Big Brother the other day.
Aimee Osbourne seems to be an old soul, if you know what I mean. It's the 1st time I get to discover an artist through interviews before I listen to a single song of her/his...
It will be interesting for me to discover her music from the point of view those conversations she got are giving me.
On the way we all consumes music nowaday, I got to admit that I'm kinda nostalgic and "romantic" of the times we went to record stores to buy a CD, had a hard time with that plastic wrapping before stuffing that plate in the car audio system to go through it and find what it had to offer... and then, once at home, listening more seriously to the entire album while looking at what was in the album cover booklet...
She’s very poised and so beautiful! Her and Kelly voice are the same.

She definitely is a mixture of her parents and is a beauty.
I find her much more relatable than the rest of her family because she is quieter and more contemplative. She used to journal and write stories as a child just like I did but my brother and sister were more extroverted and had no interest in writing or contemplating. She also has this humility that I don't see in the rest of her family that I can relate to. Just like the downside of that is that you can get embarrassed easily while your siblings don't get embarrassed at all. Also, she has struggled with insomnia and I have all of my life. The Dynamics of her family seem quite similar to mine, although not quite as dramatic maybe, but definite similarities. It's probably no coincidence that we are both first borns.

Love hearing her thoughts. I always have felt so much respect for her independent spirit. She refused to be on the reality show, and I always thought that that made her very special and unique artist that she rejected that fame when she was so young when most people would be so tempted by it, I’m excited to hear more of her music and follow her path as an artist.

I listen to full albums all the time. I dont have spotify I just load full albums onto my phone. I have a gym list which is single songs. But Ill sit at home on the couch with a book and listen to something like Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath from start to finsih. Albums tell stories. They emote a feeling and an experience.
Aimee is just drop dead gorgeous and the most interesting and real one of the Osbourne women. She is the most down-to-earth just like Ozzie.

I left home early also. I thank god I made up with my parents (fairly young) before they passed. We were on very good terms because I had grown up. I grew up too fast. My younger bro has feelings that I left him. All I can do is give him all of my love now that we are old. I miss my parenrs dearly. So much.
To all of you, yes she is Sharon’s daughter!, she is their oldest child born in 1983. She stays out of the spotlight. Her mannerisms are identical to Sharon’s and she looks more like Sharon!

She’s completely natural.
She needs to publish her poetry or other works of art so we can get to know her intimately - who she is as a creator and then she would be successful in the release to music both talent in signing and songwriting. She is shy so she is apprehensive about criticism but it will come no matter what and then the acknowledgment and praise comes after. You have to weather the criticism and persevere. Nepotism is overcome at that point. Your steadfastness and strength to overcome is your own. You have earned your own way. It must feel overwhelming to be creative and gifted but your father is a headliner. Thats very difficult but certainly not undoable. Certainly attainable. Publish the poetry!! Or lyrics (copy written of course) So we can learn who you are.

Her dad is rad. . "Black Sabbath : Volume 4" and "Sabotage" and "Heaven and Hell " with Dio are my favorite Sabbath albums. "Blizzard of Ozz" is my favorite Ozzy solo album . I miss their reality show "The Osbournes"
