Probably the only team playing in the ACC this year that can beat Clemson, and even that is a stretch. ND will need to try to get into a fist fight with Clemson in a phone booth to win. Very good team though. My perception of the ACC as a fan sort of changes with ND playing in that league. Just makes the conference feel more legit.

Yeah, as an ND fan, it’s fun to enjoy games like this one but when you put on the tape for Bama, Clem, or OSU.. it’s not close. This year, ND might of had a chance if Claypool and KMet came back but Book can’t stretch the field with his arm.. impossible to beat those teams by scoring 19 points.
Once I saw Kenny Pickett wasn’t playing that killed their chances. The pregame sure was talking up their defense combined with a less than average ND passing attack. But it’s not like they’ve needed to throw for 300 yds a game when you run the ball like they have. Pitt stopped the run fairly well and Book bombed them up. And for the second week in a row the ND defense was the best side of the ball of the four out there
The Irish will never win a national championship with Kelly at the helm.. All the 5 star QBs want to make millions in the NFL, so they opt for a school and coach with recent titles in order to enhance their prestige and raise their profile, hoping to secure a high draft choice. Kelly has had his chance, now it's time for him to step aside for Urban Meyer. A devout catholic, he's on record as saying the ND head coaching slot would be his 'dream job.' He has 3 SEC titles, 2 Big Ten titles, and 3 National Championships. With him recruiting the big high school stars will flock to South Bend and titles will begin returning. Kelly brought respectability back to the program, but he has limitations, sorry to say.
If Notre Dame plays the best game of their life, they can hang with a Clemson team who gave us 21 to an awful Syracuse team. If not, they will lose by multiple TDs.

Pretty funny we went from 12-7 to the largest margin of victory of the week(except army vs an fcs)
