Also if you go to the hamburger menu while your desired effects are applied during performance (while it’s still playing) you can tap “resample loop” and it will automatically apply all of the effects and put it on the first available pad for you. Actually that might just apply to your sequenced loops. So Disregard in regard to applying effects onto individual samples, but do not FULLY disregard because what I said is still definitely probably pretty close to thinking about being a good tip/trick...maybe. I use the hell out of it anyway. Love it. So Ignore everything written in this sad sad comment except for what follows this sentence. Awesome video. Keep them coming!

No, I think you just recorded what was coming out of your speaker from the device mic. It sounds not only saturated from the effects, but small and tinny. Look @ the WAV form! I could be wrong.
The good news is, I emailed ELF to ask them about the "bounce" feature in the "TOOLS" area, and what use it serves, because it doesn't seem to be baking in effects.
    Marek from ELF's reply:
"Ah, it does everything except the effects, so pitch, tone, attack release, stretch etc. But not the effects - you still have to use resample for that - I might add a function to have a resample sample button too I think, it would probably be v. useful. The bounce is still useful, lets say if you want to pitch something down 2 octaves. It's not super useful but it's better to have it than not!"
Just get that loop into your sequencer, so that one pass of the selected sequence loops perfectly, then Menu > Resample. Youll be left w exactly the correct loop, but w/ effects intact. It even resets the effects from a hold position, too.
    Keep hittin' 'em!

3 years later, this was still useful. Honestly tho for my iPad workflow I just screen record a lot and then import the audio, less of a headache sometimes with all the fx and it lets me record live effect changes like automation. Great tutorials still!

While I knew about this, it did lead me to discover something I didn't know! you know how you can hold the sample and change pages to make it stick? you can also do this with a recording pad so when you go to the performance page you're free to fiddle LIVE and have it record into a pad until you return to the sample page and turn off the recording (previously, I'd temporarily set the pad to 'hold to record' OFF in prefs to make it stick on and off). p.s. it seems you've got the input set to 'mic' when you're trying to resample fx in this video, it would sound a lot better if you set it to 'resample' first ;) Keep up the good work bro!

Just found another hidden gem by accident in Koala. If you swipe on the word delete in the sample window, all the samples will pulse at which time simply tapping on each one you want deleted will delete the sample without having to drag them to the trash can. Pretty nice, pretty quick. Swiping on clear in the sequence window will pulse all the samples in that bank for a chosen sequence and allow you to erase that part from the sequence if it’s part of that sequence. Ok, enough exploring, time to get back to making music. Peace man.

@@Khordmaster the pitch will affect the stutter making it a djfx looper but in koala right now if we do this the pitch does not interfere with the stutter until it's off so it would be a pretty cool feature
