There was no better feeling as a kid than seeing Max get caught out. He was such a smug and arrogant man who had such a massive superiority complex and used it to bully his way through the school. Tom Chambers played him brilliantly.
Funny how he was determined to get Rachel fired, but ended up getting himself fired instead! So much for being "the one the LEA listens to", eh, Max?? 😂😂
What a horrible character Max was. Sadly, these kinds of people infect many workplaces across society. Thankfully one day it usually catches up with them and they go after the wrong person.
5:28 So it’s only FINALLY taken Kim to understand how twisted and unpleasant he is…. She was blinded and could not see his BS. Annoys me it’s taken her this long to find out!! 😡
People who are gaslighted by people like Max can't see the truth and if ever when they see behavior they don't like, they are made to believe it's their problem or it's normal, it isn't their fault as much as we'd like to give their head a good shake.
Annoys me too! However, they were very close, and as we know Max has a manipulative nature. Since Kim and Max were in a bit of a thing at that point, Kim is one of the people that Max would've manipulated the most. Hence, it would've taken the most time for Kim to find out that someone she loves is such a horrible person. And as we see it in the end she's unable to process it because she loved him until now.
Yes, I had that problem in my last school, all of the teachers should have stood up to the bully like I did, which cost the school system $$$. I refused to sign an NDA!
Well, as he's no longer teaching, he'll have plenty of time to work on his family's Scottish estate! ;D Basically, if you don't know, Max's Actor is Jamie from Monarch of the Glen

@Jackoooist got nothing against Tom Chambers but HATED Max Tyler
Max was disciplined and every teacher should be like that there all soft now days
@@Ash_williams278 most are disciplined BUT not a monster like Max Tyler
@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 oh believe me most of them are
@@Ash_williams278 you went to a school with teachers like him
Rachel was a great headteacher and a good person she cared about the kids and the people she worked with.
Watching it back, the original school never recovered from her leaving.
she deserves to come back
She was by far the best headteacher …so incredibly caring

His wife was actually the one who got him fired because she was even more respected by the school board. Otherwise he would've gotten away with it.
It’s both sad and scary that people like Max actually exist in the workforce.
“I wouldn’t bet on that” gosh that was a sassy line

I loved seeing Ruby turn against max
“How dare you talk to me. Shame on you Max!” She knows how to turn her back on someone in style
Finally, Justice for Phillip
I do wish we saw more of Tom Chambers as an actor but his character Max got everything he deserved here.

Max is only sorry he got caught for causing a child so much pain he put Phillip through.
Be nice to have seen Max's downfall or find out what happened to him in the newer series ahead
Not really.
He's no sorry he did it, he's sorry that he has to face the repurcussions
Max seems the type that was bullied in school then took it out on the kids
Max looks like the Unholy Spawn of Pedro Pascal & Orlando Bloom. Science is scary.
😂😂😂
*Obvious machievellian figure straight from central casting finally exposed, in spite of it being obvious for several seasons plotline.
Unlucky max mate. See ya!

Max should have gone to prison.
I think he did
@@Lucario0007 Wonder if he had to mop the floor???
Half the students should have went to prison.
Way better than the reboot

I'm so happy Kim fianlly got to see who Max really is.
Im glad i haven't had teachers like max
I wonder if he’ll reappear again in the new lot of series
they will reinstate him after he has gone on a behavioural course and get super stalker mode when he gets back

Ding Dong the Worst Teacher is dead (not really dead, it's how the saying goes apparently)
His career's certainly dead, at least 😁

Hello waterloo road max
No
Max was the 2nd most evil character in the show, after Earl Kelly
He should come back in the new Waterloo Road and improve the school
And hurt more children?
That’s a joke right? lol
He wouldn't be allowed, not to mention Kim wouldn't want him around anyway. Try paying attention to the actual events and not your feelings.
