the Safety plus makes a huge difference I was thinking RVing wasn't for me on the way down to Charleston and then Florida we had it installed in Florida but I thought I could have done it myself. If we are a river we are filled more than we can pour out! I have named our RV the holy roller two looking for a river deep enough to baptize her in LOL RV Royal Priest Gary
HA!!! love it. As you can see, it wasn't THAT difficult to install. The hardest part was getting the original frame bolts off, I had to use a steel pipe over my socket that was 8 feet long to get enough leverage to break them loose. The frustrating part was adjusting it since it was POURING rain when I did it. I was on a creeper in the church parking lot, and although my body and head were under the rig doing the adjustments, my legs and feet were outside of the rig and got SOAKED! It was also great to have my 9-year-old daughter be my camera girl, and to spend some time hanging out with dad working in the driveway! Safe travels in your rig my brother, keep it dirty side down! BTW: Where are you from, seems like you travel some of the same roads that I do. I am up here in Spartanburg, SC. Headed to Disney in 3 weeks, staying at Ft. Wilderness. WHo Hoo!!
we live in Boone North Carolina now but we are from Texas our son played football at App State we sold our Ranch and left out businesses and moved here our son and daughter in law live in Charleston. do you use a brake system in your Toad?
@@garyanderson2490 yes, but that's because I use a STEHL tow dolly (that has electric brakes as part of the trailer) with a 2-down Chevy Impala toad. Boone is where my family is from. My grandfather actually built the Christian Advent Church behind the Daniel Boone Inn. That's where my parents got married and where I asked the fantasy goddess to marry me! I have Aunts and Uncles all over Boone. The family house and graveyard is back on the far side of Buckeye Hill, past "Goober Peas". Do y'all take your rig to Charleston a lot? Where is your favorite place to stay there? (My wife LOVES Charleston).

Hey Kevin we are thinking of up grading to a diesel pusher so I can pull my wife's equinox I test drove a 1999 Newmar dutch star 3858 with a cat 300 It seemed to not have as much power as our V10 coming up the hills on 221 coming back into Boone what motor is in your RV?
Pastor kevin, I have a 99’ Fleetwood discovery 36R and I looked at safeTplus website and it list 2002 models and newer. I think I heard in some of your videos that your 37V is also a 99’ model. If this is the case which safeTplus model did you purchase? I think the one you bought should probably fit my 36R. I’d appreciate any feedback. Thanks for your consideration 👍🏼
I ran in to the same issues. I called the toll free freightliner number, gave them my VIN and they gave me the year and model of my chassis. The. I called SafeTPlus and told them that information, and they told me the correct model number to order. (Mine was the BLUE unit with the attachment kit (Model F-143-K2) for a ‘00 Freightliner XC Chassis.) Just work the phones and you will be good! Freightliner toll free help: (800) 385-4357 SafeTPlus number: 1 (800) 872-7233 I hope this helps!!
