i knew it was gonna be an easy win for him considering that he finally can play on 80 ping (he was on like 120 ping before) but damn i didn't expect him to destroy zen like that
zen has been playing terrible (for his standard) since stage 2, just look at him in stage 1 when it looked like the zen we had come to know, that could have won that stage if mawkzy wasn't peaking. Now it's like he has no chance of winning. so it's not just the ping causing nwpo to win but also zen also being in a bit of a slump rn.

Nwpos offense which I think is the best in the game rn - He is dominating Zen all day in 2s as well atm. He gets such instant power on the flip resets. We saw Zen trying to do the same this series a few times, but wasn't nearly as powerful at all.@@Daan_Plague
When these guys are confident and driven, they play like it. Zen has the ability, but I think his state of mind at the moment doesn't support it. I think it's pretty difficult to stay completely driven all of the time, especially after you've won just about everything. Maybe not much incentive to feel driven? Either way, awesome games from Nwpo, great playing to shut Zen down and play with confidence.
Maybe not just that, but maybe it's the pressure of being called the world's best player, that kinda pressure to perform is hard for any player in irl sports and all the goats are like 30 isn't zen like 16 or 17?

He can still compete, but not for number 1. He just isn't capable of adapting to new metas unlike other pros. His aerial game isn't ahead of the curve anymore so there isn't that much unique about him anymore.
From 120 ping to 90 ping isn't that much but it is enough to sweep your kid easily , just imagine if nwpo is playing on 20 ping what will happen to zen 😂
