If you are talking about the flutist doing a dance routine, then you are wrong. The flutist was just bowing. I saw a close-up on them and noticed that the shako was not close to falling off.
shoot, go watch you some late 90s Lassiter .. their 98 show had all these incredible woodwind runs... oh and their 2002 was great too. should be able to find them on youtube :)

C’mon, this is great, it can’t be 180bpm the entire time, their execution of some very hard field music along with great drill on top of nailing GE resulted in their win. Remember, they’re just high school kids, it’s not DCI, although at times you’d think otherwise.
Man, this show was fun to be in looking back at it.
