Well holy shit,I've seen some of the legends on stage live including JOHNNY WINTER twice BUDDY GUY once TAB BENOIT,BILLY GIBBONS,RICKY MEDLOCK,GARY ROSSINGTON etc and I also believe this guy's a BEAST and not just the guitar, what an insane voice I would love to see him live one day!
I came back to this video again a year later having recently seen Albert Cummings live and up close and I still believe old Lance stacks up real well against the best of the modern gunslinger....to whoever sees this if you get a chance to see Albert Cummings live it's worth the effort and any reasonable ticket price,he's a Beast of a guitar player as well as a very nice guy to meet
Saw Lance with Zakk Debono on thursday. What a terrific show. Unbelievable sound and musicianship. This is a first class show folks. If he comes around make sure you go see him. It was an energetic and flawless show. Lance is an extroardinary guitarist, and I have seen some of the very best in the world. Make no mistake, Lance is the real deal.
This Cadillac Zack does a great job promoting the Blues Bands in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Thanks Zack. And Lynda La Hue for documenting/filming some of the greatest, keep it up! We love Blues and Jams at Maui Sugar Mill Saloon! Always great musicians. ....
I've been able to see him a few times, once with double trouble Stevie Ray Vaughan Fame, and it was a fantastic show. Also got to see him play with Buddy Miles they played a lot of Band of gypsies and it was one of the most remarkable Knights Of My Life
Still lots of great blues players in Texas, like Guitary Shorty, Alan Haynes, Eric Tessmer, Wes Jeans, Jo Hell, Gary Clark Jr, Jackie Venson, and Kane Alvarado is one in the making. I would have added JT Coldfire to the list but he passed away a while back.

Well he certainly knows his pentatonic scales! I really dug the other guitar player’s solo more on this particular tune , but this guy can play for sure. All the notes!
@@ecmfreestyle this video encouraged me to by a Neo Micro Vent, which I’ve seen on Wes’ current board. Unfortunately, while the pedal sounds great, it doesn’t make me play like Wes!
Lance is a terrific player - but how long can you listen to a constant never-ending stream of fast notes and repetitive patterns? There’s whole choruses here without stopping. Take a breath, break it up, let it breath. Some phrasing, some tension and release. Play the changes. Play the blues!
Everyday I wonder what my life would be like without Lynda Lahue giving us these heavenly videos.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s nice to be appreciated!
I'm 5 yrs late to this how have I never heard of Lance Lopez and this band - ridiculous 🔥🔥🔥Maui Sugar Mill is a spot to be... seems.... daaaaag people
I's so glad they're all wearing their sunglasses - indoors - at night, or the camera man might not know who to point the lens at next.
I know Lance Lopez because I spent time with him. He’s a fantastic person and it was a pleasure working with you guys
What an excellent player! 🎸🎶 He is got the style of Albert King and the speed and sharpness of Gary Moore. Legend. Thanks for uploading this!

Jamming the blues ! Sounds great 👍 Wes is keeping on track as always 👏
One of the last masters of Texas Blues.

Sounds very clean :)
Красавцы! Спасибо!
Hot Texas blues! When are you coming over to the UK?
Outstanding!
Badass!
Joder, te duermes a los 6 minutos, el máximo autorizado para un blues lento
Cool. Just ... cool.
i really like your shirt lance
Dang!
Lance with his cool guitars.
Well he certainly knows his pentatonic scales! I really dug the other guitar player’s solo more on this particular tune , but this guy can play for sure. All the notes!
That’s what I was thinking too. Looked to me like he spent 75% of the song playing first position Dm pentatonic.
Can't go wrong with a Firebird.
Great voice. Too busy on guitar for my liking though I appreciate that others love that.
oh my....
Wow
Éste man sí en que sabe.
Holy shit
your really good
Hi Wes And Lance. Oak Cliff Oak Cliff Dallas Texas, How's Rudy Martinez Doing These Days?
Великолепно!
🔥
3:08 baby
Superb rhythm guitar tones on the intro! No idea what he’s using for those rotary speaker tones, but it sounds awesome!
neo mini vent I’m pretty sure! Wes is a killer player and I know that’s a staple of his board these days
@@ecmfreestyle this video encouraged me to by a Neo Micro Vent, which I’ve seen on Wes’ current board. Unfortunately, while the pedal sounds great, it doesn’t make me play like Wes!
What camera did you use??? The recording is amazing!
Jorge Blanco Thank you for your kind remark. I always use my hand held iPhone.
Lynda LaHue, wow! I have iPhone as well, I may be doing something wrong, because I don’t get the same video quality, any hints?
♥♥♥
somebody get me a beer and a little weed....and some whiskey
Fucking AWESOME!!!!!!
I've never seen a Firebird with a tremolo on it that's bad
16:11 He tells the bass player… “ I think I melted the faces off the people in the front.”
lynch was animal with dokken
Word from an old guitar player. Not all licks have to be played lightning speed.
SRV jr.
Time for a fat blunt and a couch potato session.

..tryin'follow that bass player..
One asshole accidentally clicked the wrong thumbs up button, untill now. ;-)
the who can play faster set....aimless meaningless noodling...wes sort of saves the day
You sure can play Lance. What the f. But stop playing 10 notes per second. Good luck.
Show Off. HaHa.
