the only way I can describe how Buried Bloodline feels in pvp is like if you had a shitty 120 but it has permanent kill clip. It's actually pretty fun to use.

Pretty good for PvP if you know how to use them
Strongly recommend watching some of Shirigato's glaive stuff. She's incredible with them. They are some of the most difficult weapons to 'master' though I wouldn't say they're the hardest weapons to use point blank (that'd probably be snipers). Greasy Luck and Unexpected in particular are actually pretty good glaives for PVP. Otherwise, they're very useful for Nightfalls and getting a clutch res in endgame content.

I think glaives have two real problems:
The first is that they aren’t as simple as other weapons. Every weapon in destiny is shoot it, or charge it and shoot it. But glaives have a gameplay loop where you have to shoot ammo at something to then access the weapons shield mechanic which is the REAL aspect of the glaive. Most of the time these gameplay loops are reserved for perks which needs some sort of activation through kills/damage, or they are a sort of subclass synergy. But the glaive is asking for that level of investment for it to be used at a surface level.
The second, is that to me it suffers from a bit of an identity crisis. It’s a melee weapon - but it shoots - but it also wants to be defensive - but it also wants to be all of them at the same time. When you are thinking about your loadout and you want something that fits the mission/loadout you have, because the glaive wants to do so many things at once it doesn’t cross peoples mind as a specialised weapon as often as a sword or a sniper.
Not to say glaives aren’t good, it’s just my thoughts on why they don’t see wider adoption

I literally havent tried out glaives since they came out. I wish Bungie was more creative with doing melee. Could have done class specific melee items. Hunters get swords, titans ger knuckles, and warlocks get staffs. Theres a lot you can do with that aswell. Imagine a sword like the yamato, or fists that explode on impact, or a staff that does a class elemental burst when you slam it on the ground.
The titans should definitely get a punchy echidna

To be fair to your teammate on the third game. His blade barrage would have killed me there even if I was behind a barricade, if was invisible and he didn't know I was there to throw it at me, or even if I was in gambit or on a different game entirely. I tried to save a clip of a blade from a barrage going all the way across the map past toilet bowl, curve left and right through the two towers on our side, then curve down to hit me behind the damn block I was hiding behind.
20:15 I always ask myself whenever I kill someone with my glaive build "wonder how it feels to be on the receiving end?" lol. Tho I will say Frost, you should try the Aggressive Frame glaives since they can kill any rezil with one bolt + one melee hit. its nuts

Judgment of Kelgorath is probably the only “good” glaive rn, I haven’t checked for others below aggressive glaives but they need unstoppable or a damage buff to be able to shoot a single shot and melee for a kill. Kelgorath has a more diverse perk pool and origin trait to help it as a glaive, Albedo Dawn would be better if its perk pool wasn’t such a fumble (Albedo is great, just has the pretty cursed perk pool (WHY DOES HAVE CLOWN CARTRIDGE) with a few interesting perks that could’ve popped more if it have more perks that made sense for a glaive.
I’d be so triggered if someone was glaiving my dead body. But watching frost do it has me rolling.

i think one of my favorite things so far about frabbo is that he's just not afraid to get toxic. like, so many content creators just stay nice 100% of the time, and sure, don't be a dick online, but if someone bags he bags back, if someone's being toxic, he just comes back with the same energy, and it's super refreshing to see someone not care 😆
