I really liked this one. The leads had good chemistry together. It was kind of funny that he carried Buddha beads around with him just to remind him not to act like a beast when it came to her.😂 And i was not ready for that scene at 31:15 at all! 🔥🔥My goodness. I was like, sir, your beads are not working for you right now. I do think it's sad that mental illness is such a taboo subject still, particularly in Asian culture. Like you're seen as defective and not worthy of being a powerful man's wife because you suffer from depression. I hope one day the shame and stigma around mental illnesses disappear no matter the culture.
Its OK. Every cliche is touched on. The FL acts too young that it feels a bit weird at times. Yet I still enjoyed it. ML is pretty charming and when the kidnapping scene comes at the end he does what I wish every ML did. *Spoiler* he just shoots the horrid man point blank in the head. I laughed and it was so satifying even if the mother was the real villain who deserved it the most. I think the director was going for a certain raunchy bodice-ripper vibe with this one and I think it works for what it is.
