Pretty much the Kennebec is like the last big obstacle until you get to Mama K. Granted there's plenty of things that could still go wrong but since I already knoe you made it....Today looked like a messy but fun time

You both Soap & you have endured and proven to the Great Trial God on th e AT that you are truly worthy to join the elusive fraternity of Appalachian through hikers class of 2024 welcome for you have achieve what many have tried and more have not…. welcome. ❤😊

Those 'bog boards,' as you call them, are known as puncheon. Carry on - the end is 'nigh.
You practically had to swim the trail. The canoe ride means you are getting close!
Is there a fee for the ferry or do you tip or neither?
Just a tip! Hours are 9-2pm and if you don’t make it, you have to wait til the next day. Or call and pay to get across
