Driving on black ice (invisible layer of snow on road) once dragged our car towards the end of a mountain cliff...leg brakes were not working, hand-brake was not working...had to step out of the moving car, pick a boulder and place in the front of the car...still the car kept dragging, but at a slower pace..until it stopped near the edge of a cliff. Black ice is really a big challenge even for experienced drivers while driving on mountain roads. 😓
I have been your viewer from almost the beginning of your channel, love your videos. To me your channel has the best content when it comes to covering Ladakh. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
The landscapes you have shown in your videos are absolutely stunning. a lot of people will probably never see it in their lifetime. you are truly blessed to be in such parts of India.
Without completing the video, i always hit the 👍 button on your channel, because undoubtedly you post the most generous and excellent content.. Best wishes.
I have been following you for years. you are one of the best I have ever come across. I'd be the happiest when I see you crossing 1M. All the very best for all upcoming videos.
Another great video. Nothing like driving alone through rugged landscapes. Reminds me of my solo drive to Zanskar in the late autumn of 2021 through Shinku La and till Pensi La and then reversing to tackle the gravel trap path to Lingshed.
That must have been quite an adventure. I was a bit wary taking my car to Shinku La and Singge La as it was my first time driving in the mountains last summer
7:35 You must drop to first gear otherwise in the new electronic systems you use hill decent control where the abs will brake coninuously You must not use brakes downhill unless you are in 1st gear. You will run the chance of oversteer. Gear breaking downhill is a must in slippery conditions. The brakes are just a backup. Hope my tips help. I'm not a snow specialist but I have driven on wet, boiling & frozen roads sand, tar, mud etc in Africa mostly.
Enjoyed thoroughly. Seen so many videos from winter in Ladakh about snow and ice and none of them use a chain. If people don’t use snow chain here; where else! Keep that with you all the time in winter. It is life saver. It does reduce the life of the tires; but one can buy a tire and not a life.
Absolutely.. the chains are a must have in winters. One small mistake and you will take a tumble down the mountain slopes. My chains are a bit too big for this car, but I got them to use with the Jimny and they should fit its tyres perfectly.
super genuine videos, no drama just pure genuine videos unlike Ronnie and Barty, which is filled with commercial and making things full dramatic, making thing away from reality
My suggestion would be to mount the camera outside the vehicle. There should be several go pro mounts for bonnet/top. Video will instantly be twice as good. Love your content!
❤ I love to watch your videos. It's an 👁 cooling to watch, but I can understand how difficult it is to manage the driving on a full blanket of snow on the mountains and everywhere. 🎉
Man tbh i was just looking for some ecosport in snow content.... But then eventually i stumbled upon your video.... And let me just say... I instantly subscribed, not because of the car actually... But rather your cinematics. Absolutely beautiful ❤️🔥
Always amazing to see you sir, all these winter videos are very amazing, specially with car. But please be careful sir, Dont start early as sunrays helps alot to melt black ice on road. I also hade one suggestion that you should discuss with someone with such experience or some mechanic about how to cold start car and how to handle the situation if battery drains out. It will help you in my opinion
I always keep your video for the last, just before I sleep so after watching them I can have a Good Night sleep.!!! So Pristine So Beautiful. It just transports you to another dimension. Thanks Big Brother. 🙌🙏❤
Amazing landscape, n your will to go there ,to lands where no one goes, amazing you are Sarvana ji. Try getting haldirams ready to eat meals n gluten free rotis n paranthas

You are my inspiration for valley. I stopped at Kargil in October last year as I couldn’t proceed towards Pensi La since I was solo and was afraid of tyres.
@@indiainmotion after several years watching I know that but there's always the unexpected especially in such an extreme environment, plus other drivers are not as good as you...!!
@@markflajsner9944 Frankly this was the first time for me driving in snow and the first time that i took my car to the mountains (last summer). So I'am a very inexperienced driver when it comes to the mountains, but i'am always very careful in everything I do. So that probably helped.
Mesmerising ... Beyond Words ... No words Can define the Feel of being in Himaliyan Mountains ... Great video, I found out your channel today and have watched hours of your videos!! Your solo travels are inspirational!! I wanted to ask what camera and equipment you are using for solo travels like these?
Music is soothing we love to watch these kind of contents👌 nd we appreciate yr work this not as easy as looks..🙏 Thnks for Showing us Hmara Pyara Bharat❤
I am loving this new kind of videos. Once you put a camera mounted outside of your car, we would get much better shots while driving. Also, I would suggest to switch to more reliable car. Have a safe one. Love your videos.
Love your videos.. Even I have done few solo trips .. And solo trips are awesome but I would not choose to travel solo always... So I want to ask you ..why do you travel solo always?
I loved the sound track you have chosen for this video.... very evocative! By the way, did you use chains only on the front tires or on all four? And, are the tires winter rated like they have in Canada/USA? Here in British Columbia (Canada) you can be fined and even turned around on highways which mandate the use of winter tires between 1 Oct to 31 March every year. As always, the winter mountain landscape of Zanskar is stunning!
Winter rated tires or not available to purchase in India. Even All Weather Tires or not available here. So snow chains are the only safe way to traverse these conditions in the mountains. The government does mandate the use of snow chains for crossing Pensila but no one really enforces it.
This is interesting. I didn’t think your hiking videos could be bettered. It seems these car videos esp. the dashboard cam capturing dreamy roads might just do that.
Thank you Anand. I wouldn't say one is better than the other specifically. Just different. I will probably move all these car videos to a separate channel. Waiting to get the Jimny before doing it.
Bro, your videos are lovely. I wanted to ask, what do you do when you feel really lonely on these rides? How do you cope with that? I have never come across someone in a 4 wheeler travelling alone to Ladakh.
Can you please share the online link for the fuel stove that you use. I know that its a particularly good one as it can be filled with petrol and diesel too that are readily available, right?
Off topic: Which Michelin tyres are you currently running and in which size? I am having an 2018 Ecosport S as well! Love the scenic views btw. Keep up the good work! 👏🏼
@@indiainmotion thanks for the reply! I am running 225/50/r17 of the PS4s. How’s the ride on the 205s? Is it stiff? I am planning to get 215/50/r17 this time. But am confused b/w Primacy and PS4.
It is not spectacular in the winter when everything around it is white. Case in point, there was around 20 to 30 seconds of footage of Drang Drung in the video and you missed it!
