That was lovely. I have always wanted to know how this song sounded. I love the Little House books and the Highland Mary song will be heard in my mind now when I re read the books.
Beautiful song beautifully sung and played. I am a piper but live in the town of highland Mary's grave, the town holds highland Mary close to it heart. I will be visiting the grave side on Scotland's traditional burns day at the end of the month I will think of this version of the song when I'm there.
