Great video, I actually have been working on something similar, so just wanted to highlight that some of the figures might be a bit off because Omicron data started from Season 38. I see you included the data from Season 36 also so some figures might be slightly inaccurate.
@@CalvinAwesome yeah me neither, I just discovered this randomly, when I was looking for Starkiller excluding his Omicrons vs Rey for ALL seasons, and it showed win rate of over 79%... I was like no way, and as soon as I excluded season 36 win rate dropped to 10%... That sounds more like it :)

That’s not as bad as what I did….3 Omis on Trench 🙈🙈 … to my defense I was not playing for very long, and I think he was the first Conquest character I unlocked so I was excited 😁
Looking at Malgus, the difference between 1, 2, and 3 can be accounted to being data noise. Statistical analysis would determine it to be not significant
im also curious to see them being compared to WITHOUT omicrons at all. im wondering how much their win rate actually decreases with zero omis applied. to see if they are still somewhat valuable until you can invest the resources
That might be worth another video. The only thing that might mess with it is the initial Omi typically opens up entire counters. SK for example winrates might not be that low because people know he needs 1 bare minimum to beat Rey?

I NEEDED THIS! i literally unlocked Bane and Malgus at nearly the same time. and ive already burned a lot of omis on starkiller. now i feel like i need to plan better moving forward and im having a hard time prioritizing my resources. i used to just dump everything on characters ive unlocked, but as my account keeps growing, its getting harder to manage all the new units and now im starting to feel left behind when it comes to resources like zetas and omis.
I think the reason the win rates drop when the extra bad omicrons are added is because people who add random omicrons no matter what are less likely to be tryhards who minmax resources and thus are a little less likely to perfect matchups.
Will there be an updated version without Bo or Bane DC? I kinda want to put the Omi on her special and on Bane special aswell but idk... If the difference is low i wont consider it

Yes and no. Ben was used with Rey 97% of the time on defense.

The sad truth is that he'd probably be doing just as well with just his lead omi. Malgus is amazing, and he only needs 1 omi to be amazing.

Yeah omicrons are one of the few things you really can't just max out on characters. They're too rare

this isn't super useful without looking at what teams they are beating or losing to with those additional omicrons.
Kind of? You can get really into the weeds really fast with caveats like that. Most 2-3 omicron don't actually open up additional counters
