Dude is young and in shape. He needs to buckle down and start working hard. No reason he would be homeless. I work at SeaTac making nearly $30 as a ramp lead. Only took me a year. Starts off at $23/h. Start working some doubles and stack Ot. He can get an apartment in a month. Studios for $900 in Tacoma. I have co workers with face tattoos. I don’t wanna hear excuses about how it’s hard to get a job. It’s really not
He says: Not everybody is that nice....not all tenants are nice. There is a lot of crime happening in those tent communities...rapes, murders, arson. And this dude knows it perfectly well.
I don’t think it’s as easy to get and keep a job if you’re in the instability of homelessness, but if housing is available and given I don’t think it’s too much to have some expectations of keeping (at the very least) a part time job, community service, etc. everyone also seems to be without phones. Maybe there should be specific locations with phones that the homeless could use to call for resources specifically and even outreach to facilitate/coordinate getting a roof and a job. I still think a lot of folks out on the street don’t want stipulations on help and that bothers me. If you want help you’d be willing to put in a little work and sacrifice as well. I don’t see why that’s an egregious concept.
People never factor in mental health. He/they don't sound stable to me. I'm not making excuses for them, but they need mental health help first. He also has a disability, not sure why that's not a factor.
It's actually better than smoking and a lot of doctors will tell you to start vaping insst and if smoking when you're pregnant. Obviously not using nicotine is best. But vaping is way safer than smoking. So good for her.
These people need to be prayed 🙏🏾for, so that they can get themselves together.😰 I hope that outreach will get back to them…..super stressful situation 😢 and bring another life into the world 😢
$16.66 is min wage in WA. $16.66 × 8 hr x 20 work days X 2 people = $5,331 per month. That's enough to get a studio apt for a couple, food and enough for a little savings. she is pregnant yet she is vaping? You both are obviously educated and articulate. You guys can def get decent jobs.
He should let her stay in a female shelter because she's pregnant and he can go find a job and a place. Instead of her in the streets in that condition very selfish of him and who gets pregnant with no place or job
There are HNN COMMUNITIES,,,, we live in Seattle and Mary’s place will help especially since she’s pregnant. He should be able to work if she can’t There are plenty of places that will help them
I’m from Seattle we have one the best working city in America it don’t matter if you got a record you can get a job here there no reason for you to be homeless and jobless here unless you choose to be
So irresponsible to become pregnant when you are in this situation. I have MS and I manage to work full time. I know everyone has different levels of disability but just the diagnosis itself doesn’t mean you automatically can’t work. Living in the Seattle area is expensive but you can’t expect handouts for everything. You need to do what you need to do to get into a place. You guys need to get your shit together for your soon to be born child.
Sorry ta break it to ya both. Even for housing YOU HAVE TO GO BE PROACTIVE!! GO SIGN UP!! DON'T SIT THERE AND WAIT FOR OUT REACH TO COME TO YOU!! IDK how far along you are, but trust that baby isn't going to wait.
See? All these people that WANT to live in tents. There IS LOW INCOME HOUSING AVAILABLE in Seattle. But, you've got to abide by their laws and regulations.
Where are they from? Do they have relatives? If I were in this situation, I would choose a place to go to live by myself and have the baby. They can still have a relationship but being together as a couple isn't working as to housing. Things will get even tougher in 2025.
You need money to get into housing. That was my problem when I moved to Spokane. I can tell you, if you get disability, it won’t pay for housing but it might help. What I don’t understand why do you want to bring a baby into this life?
Bro my girl and I are paying $3000 a month in NORTH BEND! On some real ish we got into a fight once and I had to sleep at a rest station. All I could think is I have 2 fogging jobs…and I’m damn homeless! Shyt is pushing people to the brink. But to the brink of what…Civil War? Who TF is that greedy? Like do these people expect to still live in AMERICA? I don’t condone violence, but the Luigi situation should be a wake up call. You can’t screw people over until they’re backed into a corner..and expect them not to strike back? Again, I am not promoting anything but to return back to basic decency
Are they working? Why can’t he get a job at least? I’m not trying to judge but are they on drugs? Tacoma rescue mission has a family shelter! And she’s pregnant? Get off the streets
No due date! Soo she hasn't even been to the doctor yet? C'mon man, get it together. Yes, it's very hard to get out of the cycle, but you have to get off your butt and put in some WORK, not wait for things to fall out of the sky.😔
No reason to bring a child into this. They need to use common sense. Section, Medicaid, food stamps? There are resources. I have used them. Where is their family?
So many of us are 1-4 paychecks from being houseless! It's ridiculous to think you're better than someone else.
💯❤️

Dude has an obvious intellectual disability

How is she pregnant, homeless and vaping? How does she afford vaping? That poor unborn child.
Vaping & pregnant is wild!

There is a lot of low-income housing available in Puget Sound. Those mini houses are largely empty.
Even if they only worked part time after, 4 hours a day, at 16.66 an hour, they could at least get in a hotel room !
She’s pregnant the STATE will help her unless she’s messed up her chance of getting assistance.!!
Obviously they’re drug addicts
This is reality for a lot of people
He should let her stay in a female shelter because she's pregnant and he can go find a job and a place. Instead of her in the streets in that condition very selfish of him and who gets pregnant with no place or job
EXACTLY
I remember when having a kid was a responsible planned event
Exactly. Like who blames that government for not giving them housing because she’s pregnant like isn’t that the first??
There are HNN COMMUNITIES,,,, we live in Seattle and Mary’s place will help especially since she’s pregnant. He should be able to work if she can’t

I haven't found any jobs except for jobs you wouldbe crying doing😂
There’s a family shelter in Tukwila that will accept couples
thats what i said he never puts any links so we can help them cashapp? something?
Because it's for his clicks and views.
Don't you get it?! They're perpetual victims in every situation!!! They deserve and are entitled to free shit!!!
Don't you understand!?! 😂

Go to tent city 3, no sweeping

Or he can join the military and do something worth being proud of & helping his wife with housing, taking care of their child.
He is too old to join the military
@@BSuttonProductions in america you can join some branches over 30 years old like coast guard, navy, national guard example.

Hi Stacy & Russ
I’m a mom to 4 young ones located about 1 1/2 hr south of Seattle -
Do you need baby clothes ? Please reach out !
Where are they from? Do they have relatives?

No outreach needed to go to tent city 3. They give bus tickets
SOOOOOOO.... Are they planning on having the baby on the floor in the tent with them?!?
Prolly leave the hospital without it
Being homeless makes getting a job so much harder if the people don't know for themselves
😊🙏💜
Tent city 3 and 4
Please go to or call Mary's place. You might have to seperate for a time , but the baby is the priority now.
For safety go to tc3

I’ve lived in Seattle for some time. Who the hell is this guy? 3:15 let me know what street he lives on.
Are they working? Why can’t he get a job at least? I’m not trying to judge but are they on drugs? Tacoma rescue mission has a family shelter! And she’s pregnant? Get off the streets
Stacy doesn't let people complete their sentence.
❤
you've been a big help. On to the door with you
Go to a structured camp
They vaping is bad for the voicebox
At some point this just becomes a choice smh
My friends as a couple had their baby at tent city 3

Section 8 housing
That area is bad
Stacy can come stay at my house, dude needs to get a job.
Ew..
You sound desperate and weird preying on vulnerable women on drugs… thumbs down for you👎
My question is why can't he work? He is young and in shape!
