Who are you kidding? I don’t think DinoLand USA is a bad land, but so many months last year were a wasted opportunity for Disney to fix the yeti on expedition Everest. Meanwhile, this land has been open since 1998, and it hasn’t been given a lot of positive improvement. It would be positive if it finally was given it though.
@DudleyDoRightsRipsawFallsFan fr tho, over the course of 5 years I've lost all interest I had in disney and its success anymore, dinoland had it's charm while it lasted.
RIP Carnotaurus thats what u get for trying to attack us and im sure Dr Seeker will come back as one of his crazy missions to get u but there is one rule DONT EAT ANTYONE
RIP Dinos execept for the iguanadon you dinos wont be missed the iguanadon will not miss you you here me carnatoroas control your hunger and we might gi back and save you next as one of dr seekers crazy missions
I would do anything for a poster of this art but I cannot for the life of me find one. I'd even settle for a full res digital image but I can't find that either.
Do a search for "Disney Countdown to Extinction poster" and there are a couple options available now. There is also a 6 and 3/4 by 5 inch Lenticular Postcard I purchased in 1999. It has 2 scenes with Mickey and the Dino further away and the second is closer with the Countdown To Extinction text.
Actually they didn't use the Tyrannosaurus Rex because they found out that it wasn't in the Cretaceous period ( where the ride takes place) so they tried to find the most vicious Dino in the Cretaceous so that is why it is the Carnotaurus instead of the Tyrannosaurus Rex
Nikolas Kneupper T. rex lived in the late Cretaceous period. The reason they chose Carnotaurus was because it looked scarier and, as they described it, appeared like the devil.
Yee McGee no the plan was always to go with a carnotaurus also Jurassic park came out years earlier it wasn't new. Universal was making islands of adventure at the time so this was competeting with jp river adventure but they chose the carno due to it looking like the devil.
I love this artwork.
Mikey scared on the carnotaurus
Dinoland USA has potential but because of the HUGE overhaul of Disney world rn it will be a while before Disney will hatch this egg of potential

@@DinosaurDude53747 Yea it might not be a bad land but Chester and hester's dinorama is sure making it look bad with those stupid carnival rides.
This comment didn't age well... It's gonna be gone soon...

But T-rex did live in the Creataceous period.

DeadRaiser Oh, now I comprehend.
No. It was because Jurassic Park just came out and they didn’t want to get overshadowed
