He is right, a man (and I speak as a man), he cannot understand what it means to be a woman, he cannot understand the fears of a woman who walks alone in the street in the dark, but if women think a man is not scared when he is alone on the street in the dark walking, well he is wrong. Maybe I'm short and I'm not a physically strong guy, but if I'm alone, even if I'm almost 30 years old, I shit myself with fear ... It's normal to be afraid, it's what keeps us alive, and makes us keep away from dangerous situations.

Honestly dear viewers as a woman this is an everyday your whole life way of thinking. I remember being taught at a fairly young age how to scan the parking lot for others as we left the stores walking to the car, as well as all the other numerous steps to ensure your are focusing on your surroundings in hopes early detection of a creeper creeper will buy you time to keep safe. My friend does she shares her location with me if she's walking home late and messages me when she's home safe
Definitely do. Family or a friend. Going to and from work, or an outing. It is best to be on the phone for them to know that they are safe.

Hollyoaks just did a massive storyline on racism earlier this year. Now they're doing a storyline on feminism. The show covers several important storylines every year.
