The Iranian wrestler should have been disqualified for a nasty foul play!! During the 8:6 points exchange in the first period the Iranian grabbed and continued to pull John by his penis (please watch the slow motion). None of the referees caught on to in during the review. The Iranian persisted on pulling John’s penis during most of the scramble. This sort of dirty foul should have anyone thrown out of the match with a suspension following from UWW. I hope that team USA will file an official complaint to the UWW against the Iranian wrestler. It is too bad that all these referees who were sorting out the points did not see it during the lengthy review of the scramble. Rewatch it yourselves people and you will see. I do have snap shot pictures from the scramble to prove it and I did send them to the team USA and UWW. Congratulations to Rahman Mousa Amouzadkhalili! 2022 World Gold Medalist at 65kg.! This 20-year-old has an unbelievable resume: 2018 and 2019 World Cadet Champion, 2021 World Junior Champion, 2022 Asian Champion, and now 2022 World Champion. He is a complete package: excellent offensive attacks, stingy defense, great hand fighting, and a motor that doesn't quit. We can expect to see more good things from this young man in the future. He is a new star for Iran. Oh, I almost forgot to mention: in winning this tournament he defeated Muszukajev, Aliyev and Diakomihalis, three VERY tough competitors at 65kg.
I wonder what weight he's going to wind up in. He's going to get a lot bigger and stronger just like yasdani did. What a future this great wrestler has 🥇👍

از بیش از ۵۰ سال پیش نقطه ضعف کشتی گیران ایرانی آماده نبودن بدنی بوده. در نتیجه فقط دفاع و کم کاری.
چند سال پیش مربی روسی گفت،

Congratulations to the young Iranian. What a run at this tournament for him! Yianni ran outta gas in second period & Amouzad was relentless in his attacks and stellar defense. Yianni did a number of those non-committal half shots where he ends up practically on his chest & in front headlock position. He’s gotta get away from that. I hope to see these two wrestle in Greece next year & Paris in ‘24. Amouzad was the better wrestler today but we’ll see how Yianni adapts to this loss. 16 year world medal drought for 65kg finally over for USA! On a sidenote, would love to see Amouzad vs Otoguro! 🤯

Listen up people… I could care less if you are Asian, European, African or American wrestler or wrestling fan. No one can dispute the raw truth documented on this video. The Iranian wrestler should have been disqualified for a nasty foul play!! During the 8:6 points exchange in the first period the Iranian grabbed and continued to pull John by his penis (please watch the slow motion). None of the referees caught on to in during the review. The Iranian persisted on pulling John’s penis during most of the scramble. This sort of dirty foul should have anyone thrown out of the match with a suspension following from UWW. I hope that team USA will file an official complaint to the UWW against the Iranian wrestler. It is too bad that all these referees who were sorting out the points did not see it during the lengthy review of the scramble. Rewatch it yourselves people and you will see. I do have snap shot pictures from the scramble to prove it and I did send them to the team USA and UWW. Iranian wrestler truly disrespected the sport, the Iranian Wrestling Federation, the wrestlers and fans all over the world with this sort of behavior. SHAME ON HIM FOR SHAMING IRAN!!! Just remember this Rahman Amouzadkhlilli… Karma is a bitch and it ALWAYS comes back around to bite you with a vengeance.
