Walking in MEISSEN / Germany 🇩🇪- 4K 60fps (UHD)

Meissen (Meißen) / Germany is a small northwest of Dresden in the state of Saxony. Meissen is famous as the home of Meissen porcelain. The of Meissen proximity to Dresden - around 25km or 30 minutes by train - makes it ideal for a day trip when traveling in the area.
We start our 1 hour walking tour of Meissen at the market square. There we see the the Gothic Meissen Cathedral and the Meissen Town Hall.
On this evening we walk all around the old town, see the Elbe river and even head out of the town center to judge the size a bit better. Back in the town we see a bit the Albrechtsburg which is Late Gothic and early Renaissance castle (1471-1495).
At last we explore some more quiet streets before we end our Meissen walking tour near the train station.

It has a very unique history in Germany. The porcelain I think is known around the world and as of today the city still looks cute and inviting for a relaxing stroll 😁

I had to look up this town. At the moment no travels there or in the area in Hesse. The closest I've been are Marburg, Weilburg and Wetzlar which should be posted sometime later. Maybe next summer I'll record some more cities though I found the smaller ones have a very limited audience

At the moment I have more videos of Turkey than Germany so I'll see if some winter travels in Germany may happen. It was my first visit to Meißen though I think with some snow it would also look nice. My route next time will probably jut be half an hour as I went way out of town here once. Thanks for watching!

Meissen, Naumburg, Pirna, Grossenhain, Parchim.
Diese Städte will ich noch besuchen. Venedig und Dubai sind mir egal.
