Microblading Blade + Shade Tutorial (Manual Shading Demo){Combo Brows}

  • In this video I will show you how to combine the natural hair like strokes (microblading) combined with manual shading to give a super soft 3-D looking eyebrow. There are no machines used for this service, everything is done manually. This is a great way to achieve a more filled in eyebrow when microblading strokes alone just aren't enough. I'm doing a little dance while taking notes! Thanks. Quick question, are the Ublade and 21R the only needles one should have for Blade & Shade method or do you recommend 19R,5R,14 pin, 18R also to have handy? I mean what's more universal to have in one's tools.

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can actually use whatever shader you prefer. I have liked the double shaders for blade and shades lately. a 9 double shader or 15 double shader. And as far as the microblading tool goes... u can use whatever you prefer. I prefer a U blade. If you ever need more education, I have a great online course that would go over all of this. I'm not sure that I understand your question. Can you clarify? if you are referring to the pigment already implanted in the hair strokes you don't have to worry bc you've already placed it there with your first pass of microblading. I'm happy to help if that's not what you were referring to though.

      Boss Brows when I was in training, the pigment wouldn’t stay in the skin after they wiped it.

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aubree Anne Adams if you’re having trouble getting pigment to stay it’s most likely Bc you need to hold the skin more taught. If the skin is moving the pigment can’t get in the skin. I’m still not sure if you’re referring to the strokes or the shading. But the first pass you will do your strokes then you will apply a pigment mask. Once you remove the pigment mask all of the pigment will be in the skin. Then you will do the manual shading. The shading will stay once you wipe the pigment away because it’s been implanted into the skin. If you’re having trouble make sure that you are using a three point stretch to hold the skin extra tight. You will also want to make sure you have mastered the flick motion

      Yes. Then definitely need to focus on holding the skin more taught. If you think you’re holding it tight enough... pull TIGHTER. and make sure your blade is hitting the skin at 90 degrees.

    I notice you tapping or shading on top of strokes and in between. Will this technique blur the strokes you made?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes it will. this is why you don't want to shade all the way to the tip or base of the stroke. you want those areas to still look crisp.. but the blur is meant to help "fill" in empty space giving the illusion of fuller brows.

    Love this idea Kristie 🥳 I can’t do strokes really close so this is for me.
    I have another issue with micro blading I hope you can help with. This has always happened to me.
    Front strokes ….. I start my stroke at the lower edge and go to the top….. BIG PROBLEM I don’t teach the top line, always short of the line. Going back to fix it messes with the line. Any suggestions please

      just practice doing each stroke super SLOW! you can control where you end if you are moving very slowly. Less control if you are going very fast. Also, plan where you are going .. which means you need to know where you are starting but also where you are going. 👌🏼
