      Hi, yes One paper can be enough to get admission. as your previous degree is very specialized so chances of getting PhD are higher.
      IELTS is compulsory for admission but there can be exception sometimes if the professor is agreed.
      For PhD, One can apply anytime, admissions are open throughout the year in Finland

    • @just42tube
      @just42tube 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't noticed any context in Finland where IELTS test results would be the only method to show sufficient English language skills .
      It's not even a Finnish national test. There are several other tests. And tests almost never are the only accepted proof either.

      Yes, if the Degree is outside of EU or English speaking country, then is IElTS is compulsory

      if some professor agree to be your supervisor then you can only get admission in that specific university as admission committee requires details and agreement of the professor.

    Hello sir, i lose confidence when i realize i do not have any publication due to lack of exposure from my newly build department in my university. I am in social studies and i actually found a very interesting position, so how much necessary or weightage does prior publication gives?

    • @Global_Aspirants07
      @Global_Aspirants07  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      if you have found a position, thats really nice. tbh publication do have weightage but thats not all. some professor look for passion and interest. if you have read relevant course and worked on relevant field thats enough. so i would say go for it :)

      @@Global_Aspirants07 there is an issue of application deadline which has already passed. So should I enquire by directly contacting the professors incharge? Will there be a possibility of an open position irrespective of the application deadline from the university? If yes, will there be fundings involved in this situation or fundings are only available if we apply within deadline?

    • @Global_Aspirants07
      @Global_Aspirants07  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, its a good idea to contact the professor directly. it can be possible and the funding can also be possible if the funding is won by professor.
      Good Luck :)
