- The first road trip and night spent in the van was a major success! I definitely have some organizing to do but overall it was very comfortable. Big thanks to Aaron and Riana for the hospitality, stories, and adventure! I think we'll be seeing them again very soon 😉

as a full timer i can tell you one of the best things i put in my van was a 5gal. dump bucket for emergencies. you now have room for it and youd never have to go looking for a bathroom which can be real handy it a tight spot, especially on a rainy night or even day. just close the curtains for 5 mins. and wala...you never have to worry about using a not so clean bathroom to take a dump in again. jmho. its worked real good for me

I sleep so well in mine. You'll know more of what you need to do with it as you go along, much like you did with your truck (which is going to get jealous!).
The tank, just imagine - it was actually in combat at one time! Kinda mind blowing. 🤯

The van is an awesome addition to your channel. As a van lifer for two years, I may have found the set up that is just right and comfortable. You'll find that you'll experiment with you set up until you find the set up meant for you. I find that a string of LED lights provide the perfect lighting inside my

You know what you need is a Jackery.
I guess they are high in the price range, but if you reach out to them and let them know that you're a TH-camr and you was wanting to look into getting one and they'll send you one for free all you have to do is an honest review. The best thing about the Jackery is that it comes with solar panels. If you could get one and give an honest review , I would probably buy one. Just need your review first, lol.

There is so much you can do with this van. Looking forward to seeing what ideas your implement. I don't think I would keep both entrances..I would close up one with a fake wall or something and that way you can implement a spot to hang things if you needed you needed to. Great purchase.

The tank looks like a M60. We had the M60A3 tanks when I was stationed in Büdingen, West Germany back in 1986-1988. I was in the 3rd Armored Division (Spearhead) in Bravo Troop, 3/12 Cavalry. We were transitioning from the old APC's, Jeeps and M60A3 tanks to the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, Humvee and the M1 tanks when I left in 1988.
My friend recommended I check this channel out! Glad that I did. Also glad you're doing better.
I believe that tank was an M48, or possibly an early M60. Both named after general Patton.
get you some backyard motion detection lights that are solar powered and magnets. tape or glue the magnets to the lights. you can also run colored tape over the lights to give a better set up for buggy conditions

Love the Van. My Grand Father had a 86 Chevy Van loaded it was Beautiful. I was I would have gotten it but my Family traded it in for a newer truck. That van had like 67k original miles on it. The van brings back memory's. Although I did just Inherent a 1979 Chevy C10 in like mint every thing is original, even down to the AC I have working. I wish I could send you a pic of it. on your Chevy engine, you can get one of those cameras on a bendable stick and stick it in the cylinder to see if the piston cylinder wall looks OK.

I don't know if you've ever researched it but the position of the gun tells you some history of the tank...up level or down all have particular meanings if the tank was captured or deployed at wartime...check it out pretty interesting

That setup is sweet, man! I setup my rig similarly by stowing away the 2nd and 3rd row seats in my LR4, giving me 7ft of flat space and loads of headroom. Looking forward to seeing the evolution of this build!

The tank you were asking about is an M-60A3. Probably donated by the Wisconsin Army National Guard. The Guard was the last to use this specific tank.

If you can buy a swivel seat base for the passenger seat it will open up the living space a bit more!
