  • An expert's guide to a full virgin bleach using Bleach London Plex Bleach to bleach hair to lightest blonde.
    Shop here for Plex Bleach: bleachlondon.co.uk/products/p...
    Bleach London products are vegan and cruelty free!
    1. On unbleached, virgin hair divide the hair into two even sections, then into quarters.
    2. Start at the front if you are doing your own hair and need to rinse off if the front has developed before the back.
    3. Option A - using a cardboard balayage board, apply the bleach to a fine section of the hair 2cm from the root to the ends.
    4. Option B - or use your hands and a tint brush to apply the bleach 2cm from the root through to the ends.
    5. Work through slices of the hair and smoosh the bleach through the mid lengths and ends to ensure the hair is fully covered.
    6. Leave the ends to develop for up to 20 minutes until the hair is a mid yellow then start applying through the roots.
    7. Using a generous amount of bleach, work through fine sections of each quarter until the roots are fully covered.
    8. Leave out the hairline to apply last of all. The hair here is very fine and prone to more damage and will also lift very quickly.
    9. Smoosh into the hair and leave to develop for up to 45 minutes, checking the progress every 5 minutes.
    10. Once the hair has reached an even pale yellow from root to tip, rinse each section that’s ready and then shampoo thoroughly.
    11. Massage and comb through Seal The Deal and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse out and towel dry the hair ready for toning.

    Note: You AT LEAST need 7 boxes if you have mid back length virgin hair. In my experience I needed 4 boxes to do my under half. I have black thick-ish Asian hair so it took about three bleach sessions to get to a pale enough blonde, I used half of one box of the white toner. All in all I would recommend it’s was a simple enough process as I went box by box and the measures added up. I will continue to use it bc of its accessibility to buy in store, and it’s user friendly. However you of course need someone to help, don’t for get to section correctly and finally consider the price your paying. Consider if it’s better to go to a salon or this. As a high school student this was a good enough option for me and I’m happy with the result. Again just do it correctly and section, before I did it I did extensive research and watch a lot of videos, even showed the person helping me how to go about it. Hope this helps out someone! :)

    I tested this on none virgin hair it worked but one box wasn’t enough my hair is only just below my shoulders so I also used the serum in the dye to help stop breakages as recommended so without that the dye wouldn’t have covered as much of my hair. Would definitely recommend two boxes for mid length hair. I had quite a lot of hair damage December and my hair actually feels better since using the treatment and the hair mask ☺️

My hair is mostly virgin (lol) but is lighter about 2/3s of the way down from when I lightened it about 2 years ago. I don't mind if the ends are lighter. Wish me luck with DIY balyage 😅

    Hi Bleach London! Since it's seems you're responsive to comments, I had a question. Was this left on her hair the max processing time to achieve this? My hair is darker than the model (dark brown, almost black closer to the roots) and I'm wondering if I could get it light enough to tone successfully in one round, using max processing time, or if I should just plan for 2 rounds from the start. Alternatively, I was thinking of using the "no bleach bleach" first, I know it won't do much on hair as dark as mine but just to slightly lighten in a less damaging way, so that then using this once afterwards might be enough - thoughts?

    • @upinthewoods
      @upinthewoods 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Just wanted to respond to myself here since it had a few likes - this did incredibly well on my hair in one round. It's not perfect - definitely still have some warmth though the middle. My ends were previously bleached with old dye on them so that was obviously lighter, and while I did my roots last as directed, much lower down than right on my head took much faster than the mid lengths - So the top third is like WHITE, bottom third is white, but I def have a band that's much more yellow with maybe a HINT of orange still in the middle but it's very subtle. My plan was to put the rose toner over it, I'm not sure if the middle part is light enough but it's definitely close - still deciding whether to go ahead and try, or wait for a week or two then do a (gentle, fast) re-bleach of just the middle sections. I would definitely do it again if I wanted a white blond all over, but with color over it I'm thinking it might be ok? I'll report back if I use the rose toner over it as is and how effective it is.

      @@upinthewoods Hi! just wondering, what kind of bleach did u end up using? I want to use the plex bleach kit and the white toner. my hair is practically black(virgin), do u think it might work out? wanna reach a platinum-blonde..

    • @upinthewoods
      @upinthewoods 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Juliette5044 Hi! I used the Plex bleach, then I used the rose toner and it turned out really well! There are definitely still some warmer bits though but it's fine, those bits look slightly more peachy than pinky but it all works together fine and looks great overall. So I'm not sure if one bleach would be enough to get yours light enough to get perfectly white - I feel like that would be less forgiving than the rose. You might be able to but it's just too hard to say, not having used the white toner myself. If it doesn't quite get it light enough it'll be close and I'm sure a bleach bath or like, a very short processing time on a second round of bleach would get it there, I was shocked at how well it lightened mine vs other bleaches I've used.

      hiya, i’m not a professional but i’ve bleached and dyed my hair many many times and i would recommend bleach bleach toner, this is because toner deposits colour into your hair to even out brassy tones so putting bleach over that would just strip that colour out anyway making the toning process you’d done useless. i’d also recommend buying two boxes for each time if you have thick hair as bleach doesn’t lather and needs to continuously be re-applied to make sure it doesn’t go dry in your hair, hope this helps!!!
