That brings back memories. My parents gave me a ukulele for Christmas 1962. P, P & Mary became popular in 1963. I performed Puff, The Magic Dragon for my entire student body during the spring of 1963 with my ukulele. It’s now late 2024. I still have that ukulele.
I'm touched by the elderly gentlemen sitting by his lonesome towards the back. Probably a widower by now with all his kids grown and moved on far away. What memories of a far better time must be going thru his head while listening to this melancholy song. God bless him

Nothing is as good as the original. We are a "tribute" group, and a pretty good one at that. We hopefully keep their memory "alive" for people who love Peter, Noel and Mary's music.
