I'm new to this whole idea of journal making, and I JUST found your channel. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this series of video tutorials. Looking forward to watching the next series. I got a kick out of watching and listening to you use your craft dryer to "dry" your seam binding. Made me giggle.
Carol your absolutely fantastic and crackers!!!!!!!!! In a lovely way. I really really love 💖 this envelope ✉️ journal and the papers are so pretty. Thank you so much I really really love 💖 and appreciate you so much. xxx Mags
Hi Carol - I just found your channel... lovely videos and love your style (and voice) of presentation. Great tips and beautiful creations all around!!! You are a talented lady. Thank you! BTW for any kind of water-based sealing (and inkjet) use Distress Glaze (Ranger) or Dorland's Wax Medium. The latter is a bit more cost effective and used by artists for water colour (as well as acrylics). Both are very good with no smearing!!! You basically use just "a little" and rub it on and buff off. (A little goes a looong way.) It gives a touch of sheen (not overly), but a really nice effect and works with vintage styles. Any medium or liquid sealer has water and will always smear - so these are just amazing if you don't want to spray. Obviously the latter is great if you need a totally matte look, in which case I always use the Americana brand. But in this example, you wouldn't want to spray and it is always a hassle as you know, take it outside, yada, yada... Anyway, try to get one of the products at some point - you will never go back! :-)
I enjoyed watching your envelope journal tutorial always looking for ideas glad I came across you. Thank you
