    Nour sherbini tried to cheat again as always in this game by asking for many let. The same thing she did in another game when she felt threatened from her opponent.

    The footwork by Hammamy on the trickle boast at 12:35 is insane. My tendons tore just watching it.

    The age difference and stamina is showing here. Hamamy’s shots are quite loose in many rallies but her tenacity and recovery shots are what earned her the win. Sherbini played excellent accurate squash the whole game but just got fatigued and became error prone.

      Sherbini is still young tho

      @@TheHilarious91 objectively sherbini is young (26?) but the toll on the body after 7 years on the tour is profound. Her court IQ and racquet skills definitely work in her favor. The only player with comparable smarts is Tayeb.

      @@fleurafricaine5740 26 is young bro, sherbini is so consistent mentally and physically, almost healthy and injury free, that's why she has the highest winning rate in women squash

      @@TheHilarious91 Hammamy is 5-years younger than Sherbini. You can count every one of those years in the punishing tie-break rallies.

    Hammamy hits the ball outside service square at early 8:38 ... isn't it illegal?

      12:08 she did it again

      Technically yes but it all happens so quickly it's very hard for the refs to catch. I'm also pretty certain that it isn't often enforced at PSA level since it would be very hard to get any kind of advantage off the serve unless you were miles outside the box, in which case the refs would see it and would fault your serve

      @@maverickpearson9212 Agreed :) But that's the rule nonetheless, somehow they are able to call out foot faults in tennis at top level

      @@gabrielk6244 Sadly, if you take a closer look, virtually all her serves are faults.

      Wdym? She went to 9-4 in a flash. If anything, she was probably mentally comfortable at that point, and Hammamy stepped up at that point while she went passive.

    What kind of ball they are playing with? It seems very fast and too much bouncing compare with the ball I play (2 yellow dots). Anyone?

    • @chongheelim
      @chongheelim 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      all glass court they use single yellow dot. cos the glass absorbs the energy and makes it very slow.

    • @jturner79368
      @jturner79368 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also they are very strong players, and the harder you hit it the hotter the ball gets, which makes it more bouncy

    • @applehelpproductions
      @applehelpproductions ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its exactly the same as your ball except that its white. They just get the ball way hotter and hit much harder.

    why is that a stroke @6:08 ?

    • @TheHilarious91
      @TheHilarious91 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sherbini could've volley the ball

    • @maverickpearson9212
      @maverickpearson9212 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a stroke whenever your opponent is blocking your path to the front wall. If Sherbini wanted to volley that crosscourt, it would've hit Hammamy, so she stopped to get the stroke

  • @graemestewart7752
    @graemestewart7752 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hamammy's pick up was good. Why do they spend time explaining and congratulating themselves seeing a double bounce that wasn't. Bad editing that makes the refs and commentators look like fools.
