This is amazing! Becky I’m so happy I’ve found your channel. You’re so concise, so easy to follow. So many videos as informative as this, go on for 30-40 minutes when they don’t need to. You’ve genuinely perfected the art of a music prod tutorial. Thank you for your work!
fascinating stuff. Subscribed. When it comes to adding space in the high end I have used ozone stereo imager before. I was wondering if autopan was doing something similar in this case? (not an ableton user).
So much easier to avoid muddy bass this way too.. Great video.. Your chanel is providing tips to beginners things they would usually have to pay for in a course.. You deserve so many more viewers.. Keep it up..

@@BeckySaifMusic Hi Becky, I thought I'd let you know that I've just used the advice from this tutorial on one of my tracks and got a fantastic result. It sounds so much better than before. I am very grateful! 🙏🙏🙏
BeX I have to say this has truly help me sort out my processing on my basses. Even though I use Logic the principle of what you are show in Ableton can be easily applied on other DAW, So Thank you
Becky- I love the way you explain stuff. I just found your channel today and I'm blown away at the clarity with which you are able to explain complex topics. I have a request. Could you make a video about workflow for optimizing cpu usage while also maintaining the ability to go back and change things as you compose? Do you have any tips for midi composition?
Thank you! I have two tips for optimising cpu... bounce midi files to audio and freeze tracks. That will help massively. Freexing tracks can get a bit annoying so I would hust flatten them and get over the fact that you won't be able to back to make changes. Thanks for your comment. Sorry it took me a while to reply. Various life dramas 😅
So you do this whole processing on an exported bass stem? I mean, if im working with a sub up to 100hz (mono) + bass 100hz to 2500hz aprox more in the mids + reese bass 300hz to 2500hz on the sides, should i do this processing on the BASS group?? Individually?? Same question with your multiband compression tutorial! Thanks!!
Great stuff Beckyy !...I have a question :- supose i have a drum buss and a bass buss ,i send both of them to e third buss called drum and bass buss ...in the drum and bass buss i want to hit the compressor with 1-2 db gain reduction but at the same time i want to have controll of volume in the other busses without affecting the drum and base buss ..is that possible in ableton to have a pre fader so that the input in the drum and base compressor doesnt change but the volume in the individual busses can change without affectin the input of the third buss ..is something like that possible in ableton ?
This splitting thing is bonkers, thank you!

So glad you popped on my feed. Your depth of skill and method of teaching are truly impeccable!

Autopan is movement - imagers are phase manipulations to create the illusion of a wider sense of specialisation
