4:04 “INVESTIGATOR” is the most game ruining Crewmate role. Change My Mind. Because it: a) completely counters Morphling/Glitch/Swooper b) negates impostor vision when people escaping/snipe kills c) can easily tell when people vent d) permanently enabled (unlike Detective etc) e) allows no counter play. At least if you get transported, you sorta know what happened and can work around that. You get blindsided by Investigator
At least with Transporter - if you get caught red handed, you know what happened and have a chance of coming up with an explanation (I just got sheriffed) etc.
06:28 don't care what anyone says, DumbDog's "YOU CAN JUST GO TO WATER WHEELS AND GET CLEARED?!!!!" is an S-tier Morning Lobby moment. - followed by DK buttoning next round "I'm at Water Wheels, I'm trying to get a clear!" was just *chef's kiss*
Junk spent 5 seconds after the body died looking at the footprints, somehow didn’t see blue, and somehow doesn’t realize Janet claimed to be in lab when her footprints were all over the area….
8:20 Don't know why Medics don't "wait till round 2" to shield someone more often. Wouldn't that make more sense, you have higher likelihood of shielding a "good person"?
Statistically speaking thats not true. Assuming theres 2 imposter each round (no neutrals), the chance of shielding a good person would be 8/10, compared to if you shield round 2 assuming 1 person dies the chance of shielding a good person would be 7/9. and if theres 2 people dead the chance of shielding a good person at random would be 6/8.
@@drogon6239 Yes, but that's assuming you do it at random. They gather information during meetings to deduce who might be safe and who might not be. That reduces the risk by a lot if done correctly. Even better if you have a perfect clear like a medscan. So you're not wrong, but you're missing the entire point of the game.
They just get trigger happy because they want to use their role as soon as possible. Statistically, it would definitely be better to wait until later in the game because the Medic often ends up shielding Arsonist or Plaguebearer.
A smart play would be to hang out at medscan and to either scan someone and give them the shield, or give them the shield if they do the walk. Worst case scenario here would be to shield an amnesiac.
The biggest thing I love about the morning lobby is the love they all have for each other. 8:19 - 8:40 is a perfect example. Everyone is just buds and it is such a comfy feeling. Even when they are yelling at each other in meetings it keeps that energy. Back in the Airship-era I remember Train being super vulnerable about how good the vibes were here (I haven't watched him much but it felt out of his normal way of emoting). Something along the lines of "people don't think that this crew is my wheelhouse but actually it is right up my alley of how I like to play games" and then I'm pretty sure Ellum called for a "GROUP HUUUUUUG" and they all surrounded him with their beans in the launch-bay lobby.
I’m so upset that Junk could clearly see blue footprints and didn’t question why Janet was claiming to be in lab…like, I love him, I do, but that would have been one of the best Investigator moments in these lobbies because how RARE is it that a swooper kills in front of Invest and gets called out? I think Dumbdog is like the only other one that’s called out a Swooper by footprints.
Dumbdog needs to learn to not play aggressive crew when he doesn't want to die, like what does he expect always trying to solve it and being vocal about it
Among us academy viewers need to stop saying “should have done” and just enjoy the content. It happened, they can’t change it, nor do they care as much as you do. The comments are ruining this channel I swear
@@Sailorpiss just engagement for the video, let us express our thoughts on how player could improve, sometime there is more fun in it than just watching. Bro do you also not like a book because someone rated it bad, even though you enjoyed the book?
That was partly Scott’s fault too bc when they started to question Janet he just went “she’s in lab! She’s in lab!” And she was just clear for the first kill for the rest of the game
This entire game was truly a series of unfortunate events stacked on top of one another. 😂 Also, I love how the game decided to keep the same people as impostors for the next round. 🤣
Make investigate a cooldown ability instead of permanent. Or imposter should use comms more. Transporter could be balanced by announcing they getting transported like 3 seconds before the transport. (Screen flash) Tracker by showing the arrow the arrow the tracker sees (in the next round)
I am not a big fan of investigator tbh, 90% of the time an impostor is caught by it is dumb luck with little to no counterplay other than assassination And like, by the time they revealed themselves, you're 100% dead anyways, kinda just unfortunate and bad feeling every time it actually catches someone
Janet gets too defensive and desperate for a vouch when she's impostor. Even though her first two vouches were pretty valid, she still came across as sus in the meetings imo. EDIT: Well, she and Aipha actually won, so I guess she fooled them. Maybe I was just being biased since we actually knew she WAS the impostor. Although... It wasn't a pity win was it? Hafu doesn't usually get fooled like that. Idk.
No, you’re not wrong. Janet definitely gets really vouch-desperate. Kinda like how Koji gets really defensive when people FORGET he’s been vouched for. Everyone’s got their tells, it’s all about how you manage them.
this was such a fun game to watch though! between junk missing janet’s footsteps, olivee sheriffing junk, courtilly getting medic as jester, aipha killing 5up OUT OF EVERYONE & dumbdog as amnesiac getting arsonist while lovers with jester courtilly, aipha killing dumbdog in front of EVERYONE at lights, hafu voting out SMAJOR?!, janet freaking out & aipha messing with lights getting that final kill 😂 loved it. im so excited to watch the next game on dumbdogs vods
Its frustrating that transporter makes it impossible to even try to kill if the imposter happens be to the person transported each time- they just cant do anything about it. Investigator completely depends on if the person is paying attention to the footsteps and where that color says they are (like junk this time) and getting the info right (like 5up being colorblind and accusing dumbdog). Sometimes they're caught redhanded but how is that different from being caught by tracker, or even snitch?
I think it was more Janet getting a clear off Hafu. She told her she saw yellow in the dark. And Hafu accepted it. In fact, Hafu was clearing Janet all game long. Oooof. But Janet played an excellent game imo.
I'm always always always rooting for the lovers duo in my heart... Recently saw a video where a crewmate got annoyed because he caught the killers and the lovers still won, but couldn't be me! Lovers win? I think you mean LOVE WINS!!!! ❤❤❤ So you know I got really sad when DD died 😂
Hey! Just a quick recommendation! I feel like you have done this before, but could you put time stamps / chapters in videos, especially if you have flashbacks? Sometimes, I do watch them, but other times, I just skip ahead to get back to the main game. Thanks for all your hard work!
I don't think people are giving Janet enough credit. Every really bad vote in Among Us is usually the result of very good imposter play. Janet's lies were very good. So good Hafu just accepts her half way through the game as being crewmate. And her kill in round one, (besides Junk not seeing footprints) was so clean it implicates her partner. Whom of which should've been cleared by Koji. She doesn't defend her partner. Hafu thinks it's two separate kills, and Aipha isn't being defended. Then Scott telegraphs his vote like an imposter. And voila. "worst vote ever".
idk i feel like hafu just has her brain turned off lately there is no way she can clear janet round 2 when there were 2 kills and the only 3 possibilities are janet, aipha, and court
I definitely agree with you on investigator having the potential to ruin games more *if people actually pay attention* which is always a coin flip in the lobby
Yea...definitely the worst vote ever. Especially both of them were caught. Aipha for being sus for the 5up kill...and Dumbdog missed Janet putting herself on Steve's body.
Smajor was all but hard cleared in the 3rd round when he and Junk were in O2. Alpha and Chocobars were way more sus, because they weren't accounted for in the previous round (round 2).
Bait, bro we talking about junk here, there's no way he notices any footprints lol and why the arsonist doesn't have a guess? and no one even stayed at the button, so they'd have won even w/o messing w the light lol
I gotta agree. The investigator is overpowered. I think they shouldn’t be able to see the colour of anonymised characters’ footprints, if they can see their footprints at all. It seems really overpowered during the Comms sabotage.
amnesiac is the worst, hands down. theres just no balancing the delay timer imo. its either too long and sucks for the amnesiac, or its too short and they just straight catch the killer.
All these comments about how investigator is op and yet you all seem to forget how small of an area they can actually see. You might have a point if they had a larger vision area, but they dont. They can practically kill in front of others and not be seen.
4:04 “INVESTIGATOR” is the most game ruining Crewmate role. Change My Mind.

True but transporter is far more annoying because it doesn't need you to be there to annoy others
Footprints should not tell the color, that should be a passive ability and then some active ability that is not that op
Hmm what if footprints in general were modified to disallow those gamebreaks? Would be interesting
I think it's certainly a bit too strong, but with a few nerfs I think it'd be fine. It tracks too far and shouldn't track invisible roles.
