I only just found out the scope-base screws weren't nearly tight enough, and likely affecting consistency. I am working on a video of the last outing, and it shot much better. It was getting really bad, prior to that. I'll have to spend more time refining loads to really answer, but I did get one (only 3-shot) that was .24" CCI BR-2 Ramshot Hunter 58 Hornady ELD-M 178 3.2860 2.6480 .010 off lands avg: 2733 sd: 8 es: 20 Two other loads also shot sub-MOA and one was 1". Good signs and moving in the right direction. I'm FAR more happier now, than I was a few weeks ago. Those were: Hybrid 100 52 Hornady ELD-M 208 3.4180 2.6700 2550 2566 6 15 1" Ramshot Hunter 55 Hornady ELD-M 208 3.4180 2.6700 0.0086 2550 2535 4 9 0.63" It's those heavier bullets I really want to get worked out on this. At least 178gr - 212 gr. The lighter stuff, I'll focus on with the Thompson Center. (165gr down to 155...maybe even some 125gr for fun)
@@ShastaBean Thanks for the response. Looking forward to seeing how it shoots. I’m looking around for something in 30-06. I plan on using either the 168 Barnes TTSX or 175 Barnes LRX behind either Hunter or Winchester Staball.
LOL ok look at the last 2 columns on the final summary and see if you can come to any sort of conclusion about what you even mean by "sight the scope in"?
You realize every different factory load and handload will have a different point of impact? He's testing groups.... Why would he "sight in" every different loading lol. Amateur
Are you happy with your XPR ? Have you found/worked up a load it liked?
