I REALLY like the character designs in this animation. They're simple, but you can immediately tell what kind of personality a character has due to their shape language.
@@fobrod6327 art stuff and character design, look it up. but to give a short explanation, basically: circles are smooth and good, triangles are sharp and quick, and rectangles are strong and big.
The story went so fast I caught like 20% of it, but it was really nicely done. I guess the TH-cam algorithm was like "what else can we reccomend them, they have already watched everything tied to Touch-Tone Telephone! Well, they like animation too, so there!" I am glad.

(How they became a mayor at that age is beyond me, but let's suspend our disbelief). D Mark Dies takes their place (rectangular jaw, grey hair), but (I guess due to him having an interest in becoming mayor), he is suspected of committing the murder by the public. (the police I think suspect is some Antonio Santfies?). Our main hero, Will Niloc,(gender assumed male because of the name, purple hair guy ), the detective who, I'm guessing? was shot in the accident and that's why his arm is bandaged, seems to have been close to the mayor, or at least know them. Perhaps they were even married or related otherwise, since Niloc and Nilos may be misspellings of the same name (s is written like c in Russian). He goes to their funeral, is told to wear appropriate clothes, and notices a symbol that came up during the investigation as an icon for someone the family of the victim is calling. (hence the "ms. Niloc P." it might be the Anistrica's parents). He discovers that the symbol is used by the "Unequal club", an organisation assumed to be involved in the murder (details at 1:01). Apparently the person who got arrested for the shooting denied everything, and supposedly shouted "Alizabed" (Elisabeth?) on the scene of the murder (details at 1:02). He goes to check if the bullet found at the scene of the crime matches with the trial he does at a gun shop, and it doesn't- and he has more and more proof that Anistrica is not in fact dead at all. He takes it all to his precinct and... Gets fired. He then decides to act on his own, collects materials about it, gets assaulted in an alleyway, spies on Anistrica's family, and somehow (how is not very clear), gets a list of possible numbers to contact his friend/spouse. There are a lot of them. He goes trough every single one, until there is only one possible number/adress left. He is dissapointed to hear someone else picking up the phone. Maybe he's about to give up, and perhaps accept that Anistrica is really gone. But then they do pick up, and get shocked that Will has found them. He tries to catch a taxi to meet up, while they try to get to him too. I'm not sure what's with the "in case of disclosure" button, but I assume it has to do with the organization wanting the information that A.N is still alive not to get out. Anyways, Anistrica escapes, he gets there, they finally meet again, happy ending yay!

I’m going to try to explain what I got out of the plot. There is a young detective investigating the supposed death of his friend or possibly wife/relative (they share a surname). Once she is proclaimed dead, he attends her funeral. He noticed a woman calling someone during the funeral and tries to take a picture of both the symbol on the screen, but a woman smacks his phone to the ground. He noticed her name tag and kept that to himself. Soon, he starts to have his doubts and fires a gun with the same type of bullet at the range shown in the video, and realizes the bullet shown in the case couldn’t have matched. Once he takes the evidence to the new mayor, he realizes no one else believes him so he’ll have to take the case into his own hands. After going to the woman at the funeral’s house, he finds a picture of a set of buildings. He finds where it is and adds in what else he knows about her disappearance to get to a list of phone numbers. There are many, but eventually he makes it to the last and realizes it’s her. The mother of the girl tries to stop her and attempts to press a button labeled “in case of disclosure”, which makes me think that she’s a protected witness and had to fake her death. The girl starts to run, triggering a set of alarms and disturbing what may be guards of some sort? The video ends with the boy and his friend reuniting and it’s pretty cool. Tell me if you think I got anything wrong, and I’ll edit it in! EDIT: Stan Ferrolino has a really interesting theory that’s different to mine so I can’t really add it in, but I recommend you go read it! EDIT: side fact: the old mayor was friends with the detective!

At 00:43 the main character cries at the funeral, but doesn't change his expression and wipes the tears quickly in one hand. However at 1:31 and 2:43, when he's by himself, you see him spend a few seconds trying to keep it together before showing expressions and crying for real. You can tell he has a tough shell and soft interior just through the expressions. This video is littered with beautiful nuggets like these.

i actually cant get over this, holy shit. the composition during the bridge is _imaculate,_ the contrasting shots of slowly moving up to show more and more of niloc, teasing whether its really who the detective is looking for, against the detective giving up and hopelessly looking up at that map of clues-- my GOD its genius. ive rewatched this like ten times, i cant stop hitting replay alksjdf
im only like a minute into it and im nothing but impressed. the story is so intricate and the animation is just really well done in general, fully colored with backgrounds and everything. this is just really good :]
I honestly was so invested in this story that i wasn't paying attention to the lyrics much at all until i started to just listen to the song. I find it interesting how one person can create a story completely different from what the original song's meaning was. Also, very impressive work!
I don't usually comment but I just need to say that oh GODD this animation is amazing, I especially love your style, and you portray emotions of the characters perfectly. You made characters, especially the main one really likable in just a few minutes video, wich is just almost impossile. And your storytelling skills are just so so so great, you showed whole story clearly, matching the music and not confusing. Keep up the great work!
It's as if they used an EZ-Bake Oven to make a gourmet cake tray. It's possible with the right technique, but it's safe to assume a _lot_ of time went into crafting this masterpiece.
the fluidity, groundedness, character designs, backgrounds , hell, even the subtle eye movements make this visually a treat but the fact it's a compelling story as well? god. it's masterful. bless you for making this, i love it so much
The story is so intricate with no dialogue, the animation is brilliant AND it was animated in FlipaClip. Not only all that, you also used a really good Lemon Demon song! I always hoped more people would animate stuff to Lemon Demon’s songs, but this is way more than I bargained for!

So uh, WOW. I've noticed someone said it already, but you condensed the equivalent to a two hour movie into just under four minutes, but it's still easy to follow and fluid and the animation and the fact that you told a whole story with a song and without dialogue, it's super impressive. Wow.
I absolutely LOVE this animation! It’s an entire novel put into a 3 minute song with fleshed out characters and the fact that it looks like there was a ton of effort out into it as well does NOT go unnoticed. I’ve been trying to make smooth animations like this on FlipaClip and will keep this video as a reference to what I hope to accomplish. Keep up the good work!
@@makar_on It is not a real novel (sadly) I’m just saying that it feels like one and that it could definitely be one! As for the story, there are probably more people out there in the comments who do a better job of explaining what I’m about to say. The mayor (who is the girl that got shot) is presumably dead. Her friend the detective goes to her funeral but finds that something is off and investigates the death. He finds out that his friend is not dead through a bunch of clues in the video and eventually they both reunite.
I love this animation so much! I love how you make the heads and bodies into shapes it gives more personality! And it helps you recognize the characters in the dark, the lines are smooth and I love the background! It really shows whats going on, and it fits with the music so much! The effort is amazing and this is amazing!

oh my GOD this animation has me in total shock. it's SO good. when i realized what scene was going to line up with the phone ringing bridge, i audibly gasped; you laid everything out so deliberately and meticulously, i cannot imagine how long this must have taken to set up. i'm going to need to watch it a couple more times to make sure i caught everything, cuz the story goes by so fast; not that that's a bad thing, since this deserves more than one watch. fantastic work. and fantastic song choice, too

Но при этом при новых просмотрах интересно подмечать для себя новые детали. Радует еще то, что автор умудряется вставлять в видео юмор. Как например тот момент, где главный герой попытался словить попутку после увольнения хд Чувствуется химия между персонажами и переживания главного героя.. magix shiz The is just what I got. Please anyone correct me if I’m wrong. Okay so the former mayor got killed (the girl in the story), everyone blamed the new mayor(hence the mob). Her friend was a detective, and when he went to her funeral he say someone looking at a picture of a symbol of a club(I think that’s how you describe it), called the UnEquals. He went and studied how the mayor was killed (shooting the gun etc) and also studied the gang and newspaper articles (group that has apparently killed many’s but the crimes go unsolved). He brought it up with his boss about how she wasn’t killed and is still alive. He was fired and some of his colleagues vandalized a photo of them together. He saw her and realized he couldn’t give up and collected so many notes etc. he broke into the family’s house and got a picture of a part of the city. He looked up the phone numbers that were registered in the area, he went through so many phone numbers and got down to one. Her family member(I’m guessing as she looked similar to the girl)picked up and answered. He put down the phone (he didn’t hang up), and the girl asked for the phone and said something (presumably hello or something) and he realized this was the former mayor. He said something and the girl realized that this was him and someone found her. Her relative wanted to set off an alarm. The girl stopped her but someone had already found them and this is where the girl runs. I’m guessing he looked up the address of the phone number and ran to that location where he unknowingly to the girl, met up with him and this is where they hug. And the song ends

This is absolutely amazing. It stood out to me because I also had an idea for a story for this song in particular. And seeing that it was posted so recently, I knew I hadn't seen it. Anyways, its super freakin cool seeing others interpretations of the song! I had something similar, but it involved alien conspiracies rather than political ones. I'm truly amazed by the work, I can tell it took a long time ❤ This is awesome!!
What most amazes me is how the video is not at all about the same thing the song is about, yet it manages to lock its own meaning into most of the key lines.

im only like a minute into it and im nothing but impressed. the story is so intricate and the animation is just really well done in general, fully colored with backgrounds and everything. this is just really good :]

I honestly was so invested in this story that i wasn't paying attention to the lyrics much at all until i started to just listen to the song. I find it interesting how one person can create a story completely different from what the original song's meaning was. Also, very impressive work!
Fitting an entire complete story with character arcs and a moral into 3 minutes that matches the song's energy is nothing short of incredible

I don't usually comment but I just need to say that oh GODD this animation is amazing, I especially love your style, and you portray emotions of the characters perfectly. You made characters, especially the main one really likable in just a few minutes video, wich is just almost impossile. I absolutely LOVE this animation! It’s an entire novel put into a 3 minute song with fleshed out characters and the fact that it looks like there was a ton of effort out into it as well does NOT go unnoticed. I’ve been trying to make smooth animations like this on FlipaClip and will keep this video as a reference to what I hope to accomplish. Keep up the good work!

@@makar_on It is not a real novel (sadly) I’m just saying that it feels like one and that it could definitely be one! As for the story, there are probably more people out there in the comments who do a better job of explaining what I’m about to say.
The mayor (who is the girl that got shot) is presumably dead. Her friend the detective goes to her funeral but finds that something is off and investigates the death. He finds out that his friend is not dead through a bunch of clues in the video and eventually they both reunite.

I love this animation so much! I love how you make the heads and bodies into shapes it gives more personality! And it helps you recognize the characters in the dark, the lines are smooth and I love the background! It really shows whats going on, and it fits with the music so much! The effort is amazing and this is amazing!

Он чуть не пал в отчаяние, но всё же продолжил искать её. В итоге она оказалась жива у кого-то в заложниках (?), Но сбежала и всё-таки встретилась с мужем.

oh my GOD this animation has me in total shock. it's SO good. when i realized what scene was going to line up with the phone ringing bridge, i audibly gasped; you laid everything out so deliberately and meticulously, i cannot imagine how long this must have taken to set up. i'm going to need to watch it a couple more times to make sure i caught everything, cuz the story goes by so fast; not that that's a bad thing, since this deserves more than one watch.

История передана очень хорошо и наблюдать за происходящим очень приятно, так как само повествование плавное и не напряжное.
Но при этом при новых просмотрах интересно подмечать для себя новые детали.

magix shiz The is just what I got. Please anyone correct me if I’m wrong.
Okay so the former mayor got killed (the girl in the story), everyone blamed the new mayor(hence the mob). Her friend was a detective, and when he went to her funeral he say someone looking at a picture of a symbol of a club(I think that’s how you describe it), called the UnEquals. He went and studied how the mayor was killed (shooting the gun etc) and also studied the gang and newspaper articles (group that has apparently killed many’s but the crimes go unsolved). He brought it up with his boss about how she wasn’t killed and is still alive. He was fired and some of his colleagues vandalized a photo of them together. He saw her and realized he couldn’t give up and collected so many notes etc. he broke into the family’s house and got a picture of a part of the city. He looked up the phone numbers that were registered in the area, he went through so many phone numbers and got down to one. Her family member(I’m guessing as she looked similar to the girl)picked up and answered. He put down the phone (he didn’t hang up), and the girl asked for the phone and said something (presumably hello or something) and he realized this was the former mayor. He said something and the girl realized that this was him and someone found her. Her relative wanted to set off an alarm. The girl stopped her but someone had already found them and this is where the girl runs. I’m guessing he looked up the address of the phone number and ran to that location where he unknowingly to the girl, met up with him and this is where they hug. And the song ends

This is absolutely amazing. It stood out to me because I also had an idea for a story for this song in particular. And seeing that it was posted so recently, I knew I hadn't seen it. Anyways, its super freakin cool seeing others interpretations of the song! I had something similar, but it involved alien conspiracies rather than political ones. I'm truly amazed by the work, I can tell it took a long time ❤ This is awesome!!
What most amazes me is how the video is not at all about the same thing the song is about, yet it manages to lock its own meaning into most of the key lines.
