Cleaning The Floor With Pine-O-Pine

  • This is a product I first saw back in the 1980's. Every once in a while I'll stumble upon some, and the bottle I had before this one stated 30% pine oil. This formula claims to have 10 times the pine oil as other pine cleaners, but it doesn't give a percentage. Seems to still have plenty, as the water clouded up nicely. After mopping, the house has a nice clean pine scent. It was a sweeter smell than Pine Sol, but it does a nice job.

Thank you for posting your videos. I love the cleaner reviews, as I am always looking for pine oil and the other vintage types that work well and smell great. I love retro brands and "retro", in general, especially household items that we use on an everyday basis.
My grandparents helped raise me in the 80's and your routines remind me a lot of what my Army Grandpa did and taught us.

That's awesome! I appreciate you watching my videos. Same here, my Grandparents helped raise me as well.

I love pine o pine. Reminds me of a stronger pinalen.

Yes! Now that you mention it, sure does.

I like to put some pine milk in my laundry...the stuff is so good for most things. I am lucky enough to live somewhere they sell this stuff regularly.

Yes! I've used it in laundry as well. That's great you have a steady supply.

If you don’t mind me asking what city you live in, I always have to order online?

I wish the rest of the household liked the smell of pine... I'd be cleansing the floors with it all the time. Sadly we can only agree on lemon scent.

Oh that's a terrible problem to have. Thankfully everyone here is good with pine.

Looks like nice stuff. Never found any around here. Too bad. I had a bottle of that "bargain pine" (I'm sure you remember those commercials), but that was about it.

Yep, it's nice! It's real hard to find, but when I do, it most certainly goes in the pine cleaner collection!
That must be the one Pine-O-Pine boasts having 10x the pine oil than.

The large bottle on the internet says it’s 2.500% pine oil. So not a large amount of pine oil. I just ordered some and I can’t wait to receive it.

Awesome, thanks! Years ago, it had a lot more than that! I just found the SDS, and included it in the description box.

I've never heard of it before. I don't usually use pine cleaners as such. I do use Lestoil which does have some pine oil in it but isn't marketed as a pine cleaner.

    • @dynatrak

My Grandma used a lot of pine cleaners, and I liked the smell. So I continue to this day. When the house is freshly cleaned, it smells just like it did after she got done cleaning.
I've used Lestoil before. It's pretty strongly scented, but does a fine job!
I have several more to try out. I don't have a 'tergent collection, but my pine cleaner collection is steadily growing.

@@dynatrak I mostly use Lestoil as a laundry pretreater on oily stains. I put it in a spray bottle for convenience. Sometimes I will use it to mop floors but like you said, the scent is a bit on the strong side.

@@tallboyyyy I'll have to try it out on oily stains. Plenty of oil stains to be had around here, while working on stuff.

Yeah the name sort of suggests pine may be involved, and indeed it's true!

I have a video of Ocean Pine with 80% pine oil. I have one coming up with 65% pine oil. Both are awesome. I'll check into lundmark pine, thanks for the suggestion!
