i think the only thing id ever get at ikea now are basically bed stuff like pillow cases, sheets, and blankets as well as curtains. I rather get true vintage and antiques.

They 're all nice and have good price...but if they're made in China, that's a no go. Cheap, poor quality from that place. You're better off buying beautiful & good quality made elsewhere, especially US-made.
I've been buying ikea for years and many of my pieces are over 20 years old. If you buy their solid wood pieces they'll last forever and I always get asked about my pieces. Their melamine pieces, like everywhere else, will only last about 10 though before they start to look old. I have never bought American made but if I ever decide to visit the US I'll certainly take a look.
I've always wanted to go to an Ikea! We don't have one in my state and when I used to travel for work I didn't know about them or I would have hit one up! Lol! This was great to see! Thanks!
Would love to see your IKEA haul. I’ve been to Ikea all over the USA and they are all laid out very similar. You could have been in the KC IKEA, or the New Jersey one, or the Tempe, AZ, Or Charlotte, NC ....😉

Do not ride the escalator like that. Be smart & safe and ride it with both feet on the same step and hold on to the railing!!!

Ours is 2,480 miles away. (Hawaii) I got two Farlov loveseats from a company that ships IKEA to Hawaii. Cost $900 each for shipping. Ugh.
