As soon as I saw those inverted root-fifth power chords I knew this was going to be spot on. The great man had such a gnarly, heavy sound through a combination of how he arranged his parts and the overdriven sound.
Thanks a lot for this, it's really helped me learn this awesome song! Appreciate you putting the notes and organ settings for us to see too. Great playing and tone too - rock on! 🤟
Amazing, a 2 hundred dollar keyboard and very creative DAW settings, again great job. Less is more bullcrap! Love the personal touch, more is more better! LOL.
Thank you very much. The VST is GSi VB3. There is already a newer version of this VST but I prefer the old version because IMO the overdrive sounds way better in the old one.
Nice job, though less is more on this song. A little too much added personal riffing which detracts from the tutorial aspect IMHO. Trying to decide if this is a tutorial or not. Not sure, i think i'd rather see your hands from the overhead view instead of the PIP box with tiny keyboard representation.
@@NewLord ok then. When i see the keyboard up in the right corner, i think tutorial, trying to show us how to play it. Repeat, good job of playing it and copying the Hammond. Just not wild about adding color to anything Jon Lord did in B&W. Hard to improve on the Hammond Master. Your playing is great, but its like trying to outsing Dio on a Stargazer. I personally would love to hear you play your own original work to appreciate your talents, which i know you have.
@@MG-Nordster Thanks and I'm very much aware of that it's almost impossible to outstand an original song, therefore I'm not really trying to do so. It's just the way I play it. About my own work...yeah well maybe some day when my band is ready for it. We recently got a new vocalist and we're in the process of getting a setlist of cover songs together so we can gig in the near future. Sometime later (and it's definetly planned) we're gonna do our own stuff.
Trying to be funny can be hard sometimes 😁 and FYI: I'm a 1.95m tall and not skinny person, the camera angle was not the best and the song is actually just 5 years older than me.

This was great dude, just what I needed to break open my Roland synth!
My master keyboard and this VST is more kinda low budget but enough for practicing at home. My Hammond XK-1 is in my rehearsal room ;)

Excellent playing bro. Which vst is it?

Great job. I like watching your sausage fingers rock!
Haha thank you :) Yeah...I'm still trying to get slim (lost 25kg since last year)
What keyboard is it ?
Nektar Impact LX61+
@@NewLord thanks!

If this would be a tutorial then I would have written it in the title/description ;)

@@NewLord Ok bro, rock on! Peace :)
Does anybody learned with this?
Yes, os Very easy If you see in slow speed and play
Your fingers look like mine
Based on the age and size of the fingers, I’d say this song is older then you by about 20 years...lol
