Very nice flying. You have inspired me to challenge myself and learn acro as soon as possible. I have quads that can do it such as the Walkera f210 but I am waiting for my XK x100 which should be here any day now to learn on so that crashes won't be so costly.

Haha, no where near his skill. It just feels natural to add rolls and flips all over, like "it is already tilted over, so let's finish it!" lol. I flashed multishot onto my escs last night, so awesome that they play star wars theme on startup, but my escs most likley will burn as they don't have the best new chip, so have to go back to oneshot125 :/ Multi is 10X faster, but hardly noticeable.

would you mind showing your blheli settings? Ive burned through a full set of littlebees now, 2x master esc burned after doing multiple flips, and I cant figure out why.

It is up to you. Are you asking whether try acro LOS or FPV first? FPV will be much easier in my opinion as you always know which way it is. LOS can be easy to lose sight of it.
Whats your opinion of this frame, so far. he package from FPVModel looks pretty good. I'm considering this, or a similar setup on a 210mm Martian II frame. Also, have you tried the 3-bladed props on 3S?

I don't have the Tarot...so can't say. Don't use the 10dof, it has usless barometer and magnetometer, just get 6dof acro version, or if possible a good F3 board like the X racer F303.

I tried before and it was very hard, but once I built this one, and it really is a high performance well tuned one, was so much easier than say a dromida ominus. Having a good quad really helps! Just go slow at first, getting turns down is the hardest as it acts totally different.
Dude you just MURDERED the air with that flight! Very very impressive :P Wish I had your knowledge of tuning, I can't get to the point of tuning because I have trouble getting the receivers working to get my quads in the air! LOL, ESC braking seems nice if it stops that quick just by lowering throttle... Is that what you did or did you hit throttle cut?
Thanks! =D I don't know all that much really, but this quad has greatly improved my understand of what the terms are and do. Dang, what happens? Do Devo receivers not like to bind? Esc braking is a breakthrough feature if you don't have it, lol. I am sure a seasoned pilot can't imagine not having it there. The braking is like a motor being able to work both ways, not just spin up, but also spin down almost as quickly. When I caught it, I did hit disarm, but I have props spin when armed, so that is how you shut it down. Also another must have feature for good fpv :)
You wan't my opinion? Don't buy it. if you watch videos (from good honest people, not people trying to sell and make money) you will see it has lots of faults, and break very easily. I would recommend building your own out of cheap(ish) parts if you have the flying skills to be safe with it. Maybe the JJRC JJPRO? Very good components on there for a very good price.
Thanks man! If possible, flash to beatflight 2.8.1 It will greatly help you out, and the stock PIDs are pretty close, so that is a good starting point :)
G3ORGE Is is a Sony WX220 Cyber Shot I think? It has a wide angle lens, but acutomatically crops and to stabilize the video. Even with me walking it stays smooth :P Unfortuantley it films in 60i, wich I can't do too much with (you notice the runcam 60P footage looks much better) It still looks better than 30fps, but not the 60 I was looking for :/
+The RCAddict Thanks for info! It looks great IMO. Even though some parts of your flights don't make into the frame, it looks great without the fish eye. Considering almost everyone that reviews quads has that fisheye in their vids, I think not having a fisheye makes your videos stand out. If you still want fisheye though, look into Git2, it's an awesome gyro stabilised action cam.
Hi RCAddict!! I have a quick question for you about your setup! I built my ZMR X210 a few months back and now having come across this video it turns out we run almost exactly the same setup lol. And for the longest time ive flown without esc braking on me little bees because more than anything, ive just heard that "you need to watch out for esc voltage spikes" and "voltage spikes will damage some of ur stuff sometimes" Seeing that you have esc braking on (im very jealous haha) what did you have to do to prevent damaging ur other gear and stuff? Did you have to add any LC filters or capacitors anywhere? Did you have to do anything at all? Thank you so much for your time! You totally rip! Malin
brilliant, i wish i knew more about the looptime stuff and how and if and why i should adjust it, also airmode?, i'm just about to build my 210 carbon, i only have cheapo rwrc 18a esc's, but i gotta do this, i only have one 4s battery, a 1000mah bolt 65c and it has a similar voltage profile, it doesnt sag and recover, but when its done, you got about 10 seconds to land it with these rwrc. esc's... i can't bring myself to fully charge it, my little kingkong 188 frame is terrifying, the props scream like mad, and i scream like ned flanders....
BassMaster It might, it might not. Depends on the version, and where you got them. You need a windows computer and BL Heli Suite to acces the settings.
This guy..... says I'm fairly new to Acro .... proceeds to blow my mind that his eyes can even keep up with that speed. That has always been the biggest issue for me with line of sight especially flying line of sight Acro is that at certain angles you can't tell which way or which angle your facing which causes you to correct the wrong way but you seem to have no issues with that at all

+The RCAddict emax mt2204ii, qav clone, same as original, just doesn't come with the accesories. I went out to fly earlier, sucker it up, and flew an entire battery in acro without crashing. Very fortunate I didn't crash, did some power loops, probably would have been a spectacular crash.
+The RCAddict I thought the same thing, but turns out you can run the little bees at 4khz. The little bee pros and little bee blheli s can run 8khz. It made a huge difference in how my quad flies. It's very noticeable. I really liked it maybe give it a shot I think you'll like it too.

The balance lead? I just tuck it in between the main leads so it doesn't get chopped by the props.

Hey does that foam really help with the fc? im noticing when i went to 4s i have all kinds of vibration problems!? its so aggravating!
That foam is not for that type of vibration, you need to re tune, I bet your PIDs are too high for 4S, as 3S are usually higher.

how was the transition from autolevel to full acro.. im getting teady to learn acro only myself .. any tips?

FF why not grab a FlySky i6 and use that for your racers... Not too expensive

Hi, how did you mount your battery lead to your frame? Mine keeps catching on the props. The zipties won't do the trick for me.
I made it come out the side and zip tied it to a standoff.

I never added anything, just powered the VTX and Camera off of the 12V and 5V regulators on the PDB like I always do.

Any BL heli does ESC braking, version does not matter. The Littlebees are know for their very strong braking.

Yeah, most of the time you can't really see, you just have to know what your craft is going to react like to continue through a turn or such.

Is there are damage to them? Motor heat usually comes from the ESC, or tuning.
