- UPDATE: Ringo died tragically at 18th September, 2017, at the age of 3,5 years. :( He was hit by a car, came to me and passed away in my arms. I will always love You my dear friend!

So sad. So sorry. I have had 3 westies... Poppy died at 10 months .... My first dog ever, and I was heartbroken. Holly got to weeks before her 18th birthday. She was my life. She saw me go from a young man to a middle aged one. She went everywhere with me.. to work every day, where she slept under my desk (occasionally farting pungently and inappropriately) and now Daisy, who I have had (so far) for 13 years.... Westies are the best.. I don't think I will get another puppy, because I cannot guarantee another dog another 16 to 18 years .....
Beautiful story. 10 months, 3,5 or 18 years - it is always too short. You are real Westie lover. Take care to Daisy, big hugs to her!

Ive just came across your video. Im so sorry to hear you lost your beautiful westie. I lost my little westie 2yrs ago this month . She was 18yr and also died in my arms, but no matter the age those little dogs really make a home in your heart. By the looks of your videos you gave him 3.5 wonderful years of love & fun. I hope knowing that gives you some peace. Take care.
Very sorry about the loss of your beautiful little Ringo. I don't know how or when time may heal your wound, I hope that knowing he's in doggy heaven & having his videos may provide some comfort.

We have had 6 Scotties and they are quite a dog wrapped up in a little package ,,BUT these guys seem to want to have fun ,not so independant as a Scottie.

I have lived with dogs most of my life. Many mixes and a couple pure breeds. When my Dad's dog passed away and Dad was living alone we conned Dad into test adopting Mario [seen in my Pic]. After 8 years with Dad [who then passed] Mario came to spend his final 12 years with me. No better companion or friend. We loved one another unconditionally, and I shall miss Mario every remaining day of my life. My Thanks to the Poster.

We so very sorry for your tragic loss of Ringo. We still miss both of our Westies but were able to love them over a combined quarter century. Thank you for sharing the films of Ringo. He reminded us so much of our Westies. What a great personality!

When I am out walking my friends westie near roads I never let him off the leash because if he saw another dog on the other side of the road he would just walk over to the other side of the road.

Your dog is so beautiful, the video made me cry... I used to have a westie and I lost her last year, I miss her so intensely and will never forgive myself for not being there when they put her to sleep. I will get another westie in the future when I move out, but right now my heart is still too wounded without her...

Westie’s are amazing. I have a 11 year old Westie named Buddy. I consider him my brother. Such an entraining breed of dog with their big personalities in a little cute dog. I don’t know what I’d do without Bud’s hilarious expressions and just all around silliness. I swear to God this dog has sarcastic expressions. And I love the way he trots and runs like a colt. Oh man... Just the title of the video had me tearing up. I've had my Westie (Betty) for 11 years. She's been my best friend and kept me going through some very dark times.

This is so sad. I've had Westies for 25 and my heart has been broken when each one died -- my last one at age 16. Saddest moment of one's life.
