- Bandhana (Kannada: ಬಂಧನ) is a 1984 Indian Kannada language film directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, based on a novel Usha Navaratnanram of the same name, and starring Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini in the lead roles
At the 32nd National Film Awards, the film was awarded the Best Feature Film in Kannada. It also won two awards at the 1984-85 Karnataka State Film Awards; Best Actor (Vishnuvardhan) and Best Music Director (M. Ranga Rao). In addition to this, Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini won the awards for Best Actor and Best Actress categories at the South Filmfare Awards. The film is seen as a milestone in Kannada cinema
The film was remade in Tamil as Premapasam with sivakumar and revathi.
The movie ran for 25 weeks in many theatres.
M. Ranga Rao composed the soundtrack, and the lyrics were written by R. N. Jayagopal. The album consists of four songs All Songs Super Hit All Time (Ever Green)

"For a few dollars more" theme also inspired many songs, the one I fondly remember is famous Babla Disco Dandiya medley album in late 80s. Every Dandiya dance group played in Navratri in 80s n 90s used to play this album ☺️

The real credit must go to ennio, SPB and Janaki. The same SPB and Janaki had sung this song in Tamil too.

Great song overall., used to be regularly telecasted in Chithramanjari in Door Darshan TV times of mid to late 1980s and also played on Vividh Bharathi radio regularly.
